This is my end of a trade with . The character is her Purple Qilin - a magnificent critter to work with, and definitely fun to color.Watercolor and Prismacolor pencils.

Hair, especially the long, flowy, windy kind, used to give me a lot of trouble. Strangely, I wound up with a lot of projects that needed it around that time, so I finally got comfortable with it... and unsurprisingly, now I find it to be a whole lot of fun to draw and color.

Yes, finally, finally finished. The art trade projects sometimes wait for several weeks before I can color them. I do not like to work on such projects when I'm not feeling inspired to do my very best. I also have to get those pesky commissions out of the way first...
