Description
Here's the coherent lineart for Expressions of Light 19. While I still need to do some close-in detail clean-up to prepare it for coloring book duty, this version of the lineart is ready to post. Yay! And yes, all those little scale-stone-mosaic details in the background took a lot of work. I had to sit back and let my eyes rest periodically!

The version that I will be coloring is "phase one" lineart - that is, lines that are all done with the .03 Micron pen - my first pass. That drawing is on illustration board so that I can add watercolor and then colored pencil. The version that you see above is "phase two" lineart - lines that have been differentiated with heavier and lighter line weights so that it is easier to make sense of the image. I printed the "phase one" lineart onto a sheet of smooth Bristol board, then re-inked it, while adding heavier-weight lines with a .08 Micron pen.
