Fantabulously wonderful! I would love to touch it and feel the beads and metal that you used. I love three dimensional art.
I encourage people to pick up and touch my works. I even paint the back of my canvases for that purpose. Frame, and all.

That's a very cool idea, making the entire 360 degrees into artwork. I'm a little leery of it, as my stuff tends to be a bit on the fragile side - cut out paper, tiny bits and pieces, stuff like that. I'd have to work on making the pieces more sturdy before I'd be comfortable showing them off without glass in front.

Yes, shellack is one possibility, though it tends to yellow with age. I'd have to see if I can find something like shellack, but more archival.

collected to my dragon gallery (I try to do regularly a "dragon-raid" browsing through the "new" submissions.
Beautilful coloring & dragon design!

I also have a mixed media artwork with gem-stones (Herkimer-Diamonds or agat-plates) in my mind and water or acrylic colors (however not done yet). Thank you for inspiration!

You just keep getting better and better! I love making jewelry myself, so I thought your idea to add some beads was a great one. And like always, the dragon is gorgeous from head to toe. And the tiling looks great too, I can easily imagine what a headache that was.
