I looked at this and thought "Wow, it's like actually watching the Thornberries cartoon!" The characters look great. The background looks good, you have to zoom in a lot and study it closely to notice the sketchy look.

This is a vision of classic Nickelodean. I watched these shows pretty casually, but enjoyed them years ago. It's very original, I don't remember seeing this particular scene in any of the episodes, but it fits in so well. The technique is very good, the characters themselves almost appear to be straight from the cartoon. It's a treat to view this. It leaves quite an impact on a cartoon lover like myself.

Thanks very much! Its a very fair Critique and the first one I have ever had on any of my artworks. I didn't complete it as you may have seen by the extra added branches, I also planned on making the leaves as detailed as I could but it didn't happen . The drawing isn't from a scene any of the episodes, but I thought I would draw something out of my head. Eliza, Donnie, and Darwin swinging through the jungle.

That explains the uniqueness of this piece and that's awesome! That's the whole point of art, to make something that's been done and do it from a fresh new angle

I dont have Nickelodeon but I remember watching some episodes of all the shows. and I agree, They were so much better than the shows of today. watching the old nickelodeon shows sure bring back wonderful memories in me. I wish they'd bring them back the way they were.
