I always see these ones (especially Grovyle) realistified as straight raptors. I wanted them to keep their gecko-y qualities too though, I think I did alright! Sceptile is still pretty strange but oh well.Treecko here is sort of a gecko/monitor hybrid, and while it can stand on two legs it prefers to walk on four (it does this in Mystery Dungeon.)
Grovyle is basically a geckoraptor, I imagine it'd be pretty swift and agile. This one ended up my favorite.
Sceptile is kind of a small dilophosaur-type animal, but with a bit of a gecko face and of course weird stegosaur sort of plates on its tail. Also I guess it has those seeds on its back.. what are those for anyway?

The seeds on its back? I think that thery're for seed based attacks, like bullet seed and leech seed.

I agree that Treeko's line is very raptor-like (especially Grovyle, who is one of my faves). I love the dilophosaur-Sceptile, very very nice!

Cool stuff, you did a great job designing them. I actually think the Treecko and Sceptile look best . . . Treecko is really cute and Sceptile has a cool dinosaur look. But Grovyle looks great too. Nice work on all of them.

great job!! fav but I dont think those are seeds, I think the are light receptors for photosytintys (or whatever its called) so it can use solarbeam

I'm pretty sure it did use them to absorb light to use Solarbeam in the anime though (can't remember when but it sounds very familiar). Not that the anime always follows the game designers' ideas, but still.

Maybe the seeds are for asexual reproduction? x-D You just plant them in the soil, water sufficiently and then new little Treeckos grow..

excellent job. I got a treeko in Sapphire..... and for some reason i named him Geico. I still have Geico... but he's on Diamond...
