The legend of the harp tree...When I found this harp-shaped tree in a secluded part of the forest I noticed that the rest of the trees seemed to be leaning in towards it ...as if they were listening intently to its music.

A magical part of the Schwarzwald (Black Forest) region of the Naturpark Saar-HunsrΓΌck in the south west of Germany.

Great! I've edited the deviation so the download version is now 1800x1200. So perhaps that's a better res for you.

I'm an idiot when it comes to photography. I don't know what makes it tick, but I can tell you that this is a masterpiece. Maybe it's the colors and the lighting, or maybe it's how you angled the piece.
Either way, it's a sight for sore eyes- it's got a pleasantly soothing effect. More of that is needed in this world of ours, I think, and you've got it down pat with this one.
Don't have many words. Thanks for not putting the "harp" in the middle.
Over and out.

I heard such trees are called "fairy trees" and they are supposed to be magical places.

Lovely!
It kind of looks like a dinosaur laying on the ground with spears sticking out of its back. D: You know, the roots are its body, the curved tree is its neck, and the two other trees beside it are the spears.
But I like the harp better--much nicer. XD;;;

I see many trees not leaning in towards it.
Magic works because it suceeds as an illusion.
I am disillusioned.
