And there, as I've promised, the tutorial for painting the muddy effect as what I did in this pic:

First of all, I shall notice ya-this' a PAINTING tutorial, not my usual Photoshop trick tutorial. Which means I won't present you with the instant click-there-and-there Photoshop method. All I'll present is the step-by-step illustration, and you gotta paint your pic accordingly with your own paintbrushing skill, creativity and choice of brush.

And actually, the drawing presented was made in SAI. So if you use Photoshop, I hope you can pick and adjust the right brushes to match with the presented effect.

It might be HARD to follow if you dun know the basics of paintbrushing, but whether you do or not, I just hope this can be useful for you

.......and that said, I actually had never made a painting tutorial before, so if this one's hard to understand and messy all over then....forgive me >.<

Again, this' just my way of doing the mud and it might very likely not be the best mud effect around. As I know a good mud effect should involve texture stuffs, but I sucks at that.
So be seeing other tutorials as well....though there's not much of it there on DA.
