I do
. I think it's true even though I also play the flute, piano, basson and harp. I think the clarinet is the only instrument I haven't ever had a go at. How long have you been playing?

XD HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! oh that's precious. I'm sorry I just had to laugh because my school has a total of oohhhhhh..... 6 people that play classical instruments. 2 trumpets, 2 sax, 2 clarinets. And everyone but me and a sax player has stopped playing because band isn't required anymore.

You don't live in civilization?
Well, my school has an orchestra. And because we only have two music teachers (and they know me) I kinda don't have a choice.

HAHA I moved to the arctic 3 years ago, so my town not only is not accessible by anything other than plane, but there's a grand total 2,800

This is where I currently live.
And if you're going to ask me how I keep my sanity, I don't actually know. *eye twitch*

You're probably going to hate me saying so, but it looks like a pleasant place to live! Nice and cold. I live here, for your interest: [link] It is much too hot and crowded for me. I would prefer to live rurally and in isolation... heh...

Golly, if I had the money ... I've never not lived in a city, but I still think they're too noisy and busy. I like living near the sea though

omg I was checking out that link, I love it! I should move there!
I'm with ya, that's the only reason I haven't left already, is because for a 17 yr old student, ahm broke! XD
omg New Zealand how cool is that.
I would like to take this opportunity to say, people who can't tell the difference between New Zealanders and Aussies by their accents are total morons. XD They're distinctly different, what the hell is wrong with them?

Twang-Nerd In reply to Raephen [2008-12-24 01:54:31 +0000 UTC]
Lol most people seem to think it's a country overrun with sheep XD
OHMYGOSH you can tell the difference between us!!!!! Thank you so much! We are not the same country!!!! In america I had someone actually ask me whether NZ was a state in america! I was so annoyed.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Raephen In reply to Twang-Nerd [2008-12-24 02:01:25 +0000 UTC]
WTF? Americans are so egocentric. Of course I can tell the difference XD and I never thought New Zealand was overrun by sheep XD People still think we Canadians live in igloos so we're in the same boat!
Yeah I find the Aussies put much more of an emphasis on their vowels than New Zealanders. Forgive me if I don't call you a kiwi, but I honestly find that almost stupid. XD I'm not calling anyone a fruit! XD

Twang-Nerd In reply to Raephen [2008-12-24 03:24:53 +0000 UTC]
XD I don't mind, honestly. And yes, some (but by no means all) americans are rather self-centred. But you could say that for any country, really!
I don't think canadians live in igloos! I've been there and besides, that's perfectly insensible to think that.
Did you know that "kiwi" is not actually a fruit? It's a native flightless bird and chinese gooseberries are only called "kiwi fruit" because our climate is so suited to growing the things.

Raephen In reply to Twang-Nerd [2008-12-24 03:54:01 +0000 UTC]
True!
No, kiwi of course is a bird too, but the fruit, kiwi, green on the inside brown on the outside? oval like? Gros on trees?
XD

Twang-Nerd In reply to Raephen [2008-12-24 21:10:13 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, I know... We called them kiwiFRUIT everytime because, as you know, there are many things "kiwi" can refer to, especially when you are in the country... I could be refering to anything from the bird to a rugby player lol

Raephen In reply to Twang-Nerd [2008-12-24 22:24:32 +0000 UTC]
Oh really? Okay then I'll call it a kiwi fruit! very yummy though. I'm sure the bird tastes good too

I love the way they put jokes like that in kids' movies. The kids don't get them but laugh anyway

Raephen In reply to Twang-Nerd [2008-12-22 03:06:24 +0000 UTC]
HAHA Yeah and all the adults not only get the joke, but laugh AT the kids laughing because they know the kids don't get it. XD
I remember one time I was talking to my mom about the Exxon Valdiez, and I accidentally said something about Enron and she nearly pissed herself laughing. XD
