Stripe is the best, isn't he? I must've spent $12 trying to get that plush doll out of a carne machine in Atlantic City a couple years ago. I was obsessed!

Me too, Gremlins is most likely my favorite Christmas movie of all time. It's just as good now as it was when I first saw it back in '84. It's a perfect mix of horror, action, and comedy. And despite the violence, it still has a certain wholesomeness and charm to it too.

Hard to believe it was one of the movies that inspired the PG-13 movie rating, yet now it's found in the "Family" section of most video stores.
