It's just someone's own personal character. The images you've seen are probably other pieces that this person has commissioned, just like this reference sheet.

The job you've done with the shadows and colour variation in white here is simply amazing. I looks like he would belong just perfectly in some dreamy, cloudy painting with yellow and faint lavender overtones.
And the anatomy is flawless, as always.

i think maybe you should give yourself more credit with regards to the DESIGNING of these characters.. cos if the 'designer' needed u to draw them... i don't know, it just seems hard to believe that their designs could even compare to these works of yours.. in other words i bet ur works often change their initial designs for the better?? let me know if i am wrong, thanks

No, I really don't change the design unless the person specifically asks me to. The "designer" usually asks me to draw the sheet for them because they are not confident artists, themselves, not because they want me to change their designs.
There have been a couple times where I've had the opportunity to make up things for other people, and it's very fun but those commissions have been few and far between.

Awesome! It looks so realistic! I love the detail on the eye- it's so pretty.. and mysteriously frosted.

The coloring on the fur is incredible. I just can't stop looking at it. I know the -theory- of shading white, and doing fur, but this execution is just god-among-ants quality.
And the thin bones of the wings, and the little stretches of the wing membranes -- it looks incredibly real.
