Commission for =Krissyfawx of her character, Vex. Vex was originally some kind of furry mammal, which I was asked to dragonize (I love this kind of commission.) The undersides of her wings are actually white, but the black, white, and burgundy pattern from the upper surface is shining through in the bright light.Character © krissyfawx

This is a stunning digi painting. A great idea and wonderfully executed. It beautifully shows the power and energy of a hunt, and how bitter sweet It it is. Though one creature gets a much needed meal, the other gives it life, thus the circle goes. And what a great idea to have the top colors show through the white underside. A great way to eliminate what could have beenlarge amounts of overbearing white.
