be careful stacking your panels on the left. like you did in panels 2-4, it can confuse the read flow. otherwise nice work.

Yeah, it's pretty bad IMHO. Honestly, I never liked the layout on the page. It's weak storytelling. The only thing I was satisfied with was the line work, really.

Thanks for the comment, though. It shows you know your stuff and I appreciate that a lot.

Good style, but kind of hard to read, as far as sequentials go that is

Couple of little perspective problems, but overall these are really strong man. Nice BG's, good spotting of blacks, good anatomy, and cool style!

I love the art page. After looking at the sequentials I can say for sure you've added a touch of the "summer blockbuster" feel to your personal storytelling style. Considering some of our pass coversations though I thought you weren't into "Tech" people.

To add a comment from what AmericanNinjaX said earlier. From the last shot it reminds me of a 1/4 angle pan up of the main star (Villian this time around) from Terminator 2. From that angle he'd be pointing at roughly mid-sternum area. Lethal and painful. That's what Shocker has always been.

NIce.. little issue with panel 6.. should Shocker be more in shadow? I think his being more revealed takes away from the power of panel 7. What think you, eh?

Great clean lines. Solid use of your black/dark areas. Be sure to not lose your page composition for the sake of your panel compositions. Hope that makes sense, and if not here's another way to put it--Establish your panel borders.

Damn this is amazing stuff, RA!

Damn Ray, really rockin it out with the sample work. Good luck to you mang! Just a thought before you submit though. The victim there is standing up, slouched but still standing. Then in the last panel shocker's in a hard core angle pointing down. So either he's gigantical or he's going to shock that dude's peepee.

Really nice as always. I remember the slingers. Not sure why you aren't already doing Marvel work, other then the fact that only want realistic looking art. To me your style is far more acceptable to this medium then the realistic stuff they are trying to push down everyones throat. Good stuff bro. I hope you get a gig from it.

Nice to see Shocker lookin' so bad. And by bad I mean rockin', not bad as in bad looking.

I don't think anyone would misunderstand me on that one, though!

Great work. One of my favorite Spidey villains!
