Tadah.Didn't know what to do for an Intro, so I just showed the 4 main characters for the 100TC. Later, the Bionichick, Doggy, Hydrax, Dragon and maybe the Scorpion will come in.
Just wondering - did anyone notice the changes in Ol' Mata? His Golden Staff has changed, and (experimentally) I changed his Piraka torso from silver to black. This way, because of black arms and legs, it looks like his body is black but he is covered in old and silver armour. Personally I think it's an improvement, but say what you think anyway.

Yes, exactly - it gives me something to fall back on if I get into a phase of no inspiration. If you do start it, though, will you realistically finish it? I like being able to see things through, though 100 is a lot...

I hear you, I started the list (doing art) in 2005/2006, and ended up quiting because I pushed myself too far, making myself ONLY draw stuff from the list AND in order, now I'm redoing it (didn't want to pick up the old one because it was... well... old and immature) and at current I have 43 pictures for the list done... but it's taken a backseat to a big piece to do with "Aphrodite" the greek goddess as an anthropomorphic seal, and after that I'll probably be forced to do a reference sheet of my persona because everyone wants it, and I need it too... it's just she's really detailed, so there's hands, claws, tails, wings, feet, eyes, spines, etc that need to be drawn and pointed out...
But anyways, good luck to you! I hope you don't feel I'm copying you if one day I decide to do a 100 photo challenge of Bionicles.

Mata Nui does seem improved by the all black limbs, and I think I see some other changes as well. Did you recently place a Spinax spine on the staff or was that there the whole time?

The Spinax spines are actually arm-spikes (one on each) and yes, they have been there the whole time. They somehow managed to hide in the shadows.
And also...I'm building a Makuta :imhappyplz: I really want to tell someone about it but i'll keep it in >.<

Ugh...I've started his design, i'm making him have a red body with black armour (a bit like Mata). A few things aren't too good though...the Wolf Pup took the majority of the good black pieces, so this Makuta doesn't have much lack armour at all. Because of this, I can't really make a Makuta-worthy weapon (preferably a staff, to match Mata's) because all i have are two Onua Mata claws, a few Piraka feet and Mantax's tail :/
Lastly I've never actually bought a Teridax set or anything with the Kraahkan, so I've given him a black Rahkshi head with the Metru Ruru, which makes him have a constant angry look ,ridges on his forehead and two 'ears' which look a bit bat-like (not exactly a bad thing, i think it looks quite effective).
...so much for not telling anyone about it

Well, there's always one option, though you may consider it blasphemous. You could...disassemble the Wolf Pup
Other than that, yeah you seem to be in quite the tough spot. A lack of Teridax certainly doesn't help, did you get Icarax? Uh...I'm trying to dredge up memory of anyone else you could use...Hydraxon, Maxilos (a lovely source of gunmetal) and..yeah don't really know.
But you've only revealed what's lacking. For the most part the body design could be quite varied based on what you've said. Besides, you were probably going to tell someone eventually, at least that's been done now.

To be honest, i'm very happy with the head. although, it looks a bit too Earth-Toa-like to me - he looks like a gladiator. Not exactly good for a dark lord thing.
I tried to negate this by giving him a ribcage out of Onua claws, which i personally think look awesome. He has a shield made from the front parts of Ignika's jet (the big plates) and he has the smaller plates for shoulderblades. Apart from that, he doesn't look that good.
I suppose I created him purely to be an anti-Mata Nui. He has the same body structure (as in, Piraka torso, and how it's connected to the hips, but nothing more) and the same staff-shield weaponry.
I'm considering posting a picture of his unfinished form, not sure though.

This ribcage sounds quite awesome indeed, and using the jet parts is a good idea. But you're unhapy with the rest. All I could suggest is keep working on him, and if you're still unsatisfied then post a picture of him and tear him to shreds.

That's one of the main reasons I've yet to build a Makuta as well. So far any design I've come up with just didn't seem worthy of joining their ranks.
