Yet let me remind you that Maria is long time dead. So ShadAria as well as SonAria - are inconsistent. They are not possible.

I know that this entire couple shipping fandom is senseless and silly from starters. *it's a pity that nobody warned me at the right time - tht it's a very bad idea to find out who's with whom in Sonic universe*
I already said all what is needed to be said about Shadamy... like dozen times.
Shadow wouldn't under any circumstanses choose Amy over Maria. Both or none.
Maria was like a friend and sister to him - no more, no less.
*god damn unwritten fanfic of mine 
But take one thing into account - if Maria didn't die would Shadow be the same Shadow? Without this tragedy in his life - he wouldn't. So
And Shadow would care - because Maria is his "sister friend figure" and like a "brother friend figure" he'd give Sonic the hardest time in his life.

I have my reasons ^^
First, I don't like Shadow, since he's born in the Sonic Team, every character who followed has "magic powers". Allow me to explain...
Sonic is really fast, Tails can fly with his tails, Knuckles can glide and has good fists... ( Fans : OUTDATED ! They suck ! )
But when Shadow appeared, everything changed... We have :
- A super Ultimate hedgehog, who can run as fast as Sonic, who has "extreme chaos powers", who can turn into a Super form... ( It's TOO much... ),
- Another Hedgie who is white and who has awesome Psykokinesis power... ( Sonic is faaaar... )
- A cat who can use the power of the flames...
No sorry, those characters are too strong, and I don't like them ( doesn't mean I'll flame them )...
I can't even stand the idea to let the "Ultimate Mary-S... sorry, the Ultimate Hedgie" be with Amy Rose ( who was here before him, and who never gave up to marry Sonic xD )
Second : I've always thought that : If Amy accepted to go with Shadow, that means, she would have try twice to commit suicide without success xDD ( which is not Amy's intentions... )
Third : I'm a HARD Sonamy fan since 1993. ( Sonic CD ) This couple is so cute and I can't stand to share Amy with anybody else than Sonic x3 !
