A little comic introducing an Adventure Time OC I made up. Lineart sketched and inked on paper. I took a picture of it and cleaned it up before coloring in PS, which is why it's so crooked...Am I a horrible person? I feel a bit like a horrible person for making OCs for series. I never know if I'm overdoing it or not.
OH WELL. He's not really a gary stu so I'll live.
This is Brand, his parents are from the fire kingdom and the candy kingdom, respectively (it was a messy relationship, as you may be able to guess). There's not much special about him. He can make small flames as well as large treats (about the best thing about this is his self-proclaimed s'more powers) and he's not a fan of the rain. He's kinda just wandering around the land of Ooo, doing his own thing. I guess he ran into the guys somewhere and introduced himself.

Oh, I don't think candy people have sex the same way regular people do... (I mean....I don't think they have sex organs...at least not visible ones...) But yes, Brand's dad did use a fire shield spell almost constantly, even in daily life (until he didn't and whoops there went Brand's dad!).

this has like a 70s or 80s comic book color scheme kinda thing goin on that i like! but also Brand would look more like an actual character if you toned down some of the detail in the hair and sweatshirt a bit; i've noticed this problem in a lot of OCs, mine included

Haha, nah it's cool. I've seen plenty of real AT characters with way more detail than this so I'm not worrying too much about it. Plus it's not like he's ever gonna appear in the show, so I don't need to make him look like a background character.

well...other than the characters in the genderbend [which i don't consider to be true AT style(Ya, I went there!)] and the Lich,there are no wrinkles in the clothing to be found; everything is very subtly implied, and yet you know exactly what it is (that's what makes it so awesome)
also, DON'T TALK LIKE THAT! treat every creation as though it were in a competition to be in the show; it ensures the best, highest quality characters.

Oooh you meant that stuff! Well for me I just tend to put wrinkles into clothing, it just feels right to me in certain places. I don't really consider it a part of their design so much as a personal preference, but I know what you mean. My art is kinda mediocre so any little detail I can put in makes me feel a little bit better about my shaky inconsistant lines lol

Haha well his mom was a fire citizen and his dad was a candy citizen. It was a fiery, sweet, short romance. Luckily Brand is less candy than fire or he coulda been in some real trouble! Anyways, he doesn't really have a good grasp or talent for either form of magic, but can do a little of both.
