...we discussed this in some serious photo forums and guys said (and I think so aswell) that the fact that the hands are cut here is not very important and does not take away from the most important part.
sometimes you have to forget about of what you've been tought and look at things with different eyes.

This has a strage and captivating tension between the familiar & the allegorical for the viewer, Rainer...This shot, forgive me ~ looks as though *the content/subjects* could be in anybody's kitchen...You seem to be saying to me ~ this *IS* everybody's kitchen...& life goes on & we are living for those we see so seldom ~ & may never in fact meet

Gosh, the composition couldn't be any better.
Loving the posters at the back, they fit really well.
