Description
This piece was drawn with a micron pen, colored in photoshop. It was inspired by the fairy tale by the same name, written by Hans Christian Anderson (who wrote countless fairytales I love, such as The Little Matchgirl, The Little Mermaid etc) If you'd like to read it, you can read it here: [link]

This also inspired me to write a song, which I was hoping I'd also have a raw track to direct you to, but you'll have to hunt it down in my journal when it's ready.

Here are the lyrics I wrote, for those of you who dig that kind of thing, I'll be playing it at my show on Friday! Joy!

Snow Queen:
Sharp and sweet is the taste on my lips,
Candy canes with a poisonous twist.
Life and Death are entwined in our Kiss,
Oblivion, so much sweeter than bliss.

Snow Queen, you'll kiss me to Death,
So white are your eyes, So cold is your breath.
So C-C-Cold in here, I'll C-C-Close my eyes,
If I should drift away, then wrap me up in white.

What's that sound? What's that sound?
Another angel lies dead on the ground.
Falling down, all around,
The wings spread as the feathers fall out.
Its halo is made, of lost memories
I stare down at its face, not surprised to see me.

Snow Queen, you'll kiss me to Death,
So white are your eyes, So cold is your breath.
So C-C-Cold in here, I'll C-C-Close my eyes,
If I should drift away, then wrap me up in white.

Every snowflake is just a cage.
I've no strength left to strain,
Against these walls of Ice,
This frozen web you've made.
