I really, really love the song. I mean, like really. WoodLore's cover of it is amazing as well; I admittedly mostly listened to his version/cover as I drew this haha. I'm not personally sure what to think or believe about Twilight's mortality in the show, and whether she'll live longer or live forever, but I'm willing to entertain a number of headcanons on the idea. Please, I beg, though, do not let the comments turn into a mortality debate. There are better places for that sort of discussion.

It's just to sad of a idea to be made apparent in the show I feel.

Maybe, it is sort of sad, but I don't really think it's unthinkable to be made canon (albeit unlikely); Luna's thousand year banishment was pretty sad and dark.

If they play it off as not that big of deal like they did with Luna than I think it could work both ways. Lighthearted but the sad undertones to be found.
