Yep! I'm FINALLY submitting another on of my projects from last semester!

One of our projects for my art class last semester was to take a piece of art and reproduce it out of contest-that is, re-make it in a different medium, and different size, a cropped version, or some other way that changes the meaning in some way.

I chose to paint one of Monet's Waterlily watercolors on a pair of white flats. I used Acrylic paint and put like ten ayers of varnish on when I was done. Unfortunately I didn't treat the shoes enough before I painted them so they're not wear-able. (Trust me. I found out the hard way :c) Over all, about 8 hours of work.

I really enjoyed this and I am totally going to paint shoes in the future. Ones that I can actually wear.
