New semester, new slew of art to procrastinate and forget to post.

First major assignment for my Child Art class.

Self-Portrait Name Tag, supposed to say five things about ourselves.

1. I love embroidery, stitching, handy sorts of physical work.
2. When I have to do things in color, I prefer to use paint (the splotches are watered down paint).
3. The black writing is one of my favorite quotes:
"You are a child of the universe
no less than the trees and the stars;
you have a right to be here.
And whether or not it is clear to you,
no doubt the universe is unfolding as it should." from Max Ehrmann's 'Desiderata'
4. The color scheme is one I particularly like.
5. My name, Erin Elizabeth
6. It didn't turn out the way I planned. And as an artist, nothing ever does.
