:] Love this story/musical/movie.

I like the play more than the movie with Jhonny Depp in some ways, but I think I like the movie more over all. I like that Johanna is more precedent in the play, but HOLY CRAP the version I saw...the actress was HORRIBLE. Her face was like flat and cross eyed and I had to skip through all her songs because they were screechy and out of tune (which sucks, because I like Green Finch and Linnet Bird, and that version was longer.) Actually, most of the songs were longer, which was cool.
Also, I liked Helena Bonham-Carter as Mrs. Lovett better than the Mrs. Lovett in the play version I saw. That Mrs. Lovett seemed more crazy than Sweeny. Plus, the begger woman in the play wasn't nearly crazy enough.

Okay, I could go on for a while, but I won't.
