Contest Update:It was either update as a cute little comic or through the journal as text D: I chose comic (cause its more fun xD; )
To sum it up quite nicely--
Contest ([link] ) deadline has been pushed from June 30 to July 7th, 12:00 PM PST Judging will start from July 7th, 12:00 PM PST to July 11th (if all the scores are sent before then, results will be posted up ASAP ^^ ) Any entries sent on or before June 30th will recieve x-tra credit points to their overall scorenote: it's going to be fair xD; they won't recieve so much points that they'll have a huge advantage over later entries...
We're lacking two judges LOL.Read the rules before sending a note tho!
If anyone has any helpful info concerning shipping/postal stuff or past experience/tips/whatever, anything will be helpful! >w<;; Please comment or note! Thanks!-is a total n00b at postal/sending/shipping stuff OTL -

If you want to be picky you could send them all COD (paying for the postage only, you would not want to have the person paying for the parcel to be paying for the gift as well). COD is simple. The addressee receives the parcel, a check with the amount you specified on it is filled out right there and it's mailed to your address. If they really want the prize, they'll pay a bit to get it. Nothing truly is free, eh?

Aww, those were such cute prizes. I've never seen a paper star necklace before, was that your idea? It's really cute. I haven't been as active lately, so I don't know if you do this already or not, but if you wanted to, I'm sure you could make a lot of money selling bottles of paper stars, they're really cute and a lot of people would probably want some but either don't know how to make them (look good) or don't have the time to make them. Just an idea.~

Ahh I was thinking about that a few days ago (since I'm in dire need for some money xD; ) but I don't know how much they would sell for ._.;; Or where I would find the boxes to ship them out xD;;

Sure. ^_^ For boxes, you can possibly purchase some from the post office, but from what I've heard and experienced when I was younger, stores usually give away boxes for free, that the produce or merchandise came in, so calling some local shops and grocery stores may not be a bad idea, and walking isn't either. I tried to look up a few things about it, but my computer's lagging at the moment, I did find a few sites but not many with this lag. I can try looking some more if you want later, but I remember when I used to live in Ohio, we'd get free boxes all the time from the grocery store and up here where my mom used to work, she could get free boxes all the time, too. At the very least, they can probably recommend someone to contact about it, I'm not sure if you'd ask a manager or not, if not, I'd probably ask someone stocking the shelves. As for prices, I'd say maybe $15-$30 +shipping, depending on the size jar you fill and if you decorate the jar with a lace ribbon or something of that sort. I'm not very good with pricing, but I think those are pretty reasonable, maybe you could get some other opinions about if anyone would be interested and what they'd consider a good price. Good luck though, if you decide to give it a try!

I really hope it helps, I've never needed to get boxes before that we didn't already have, that's just some stuff I heard and that happened when I was little, so I hope it works for you. I don't really comment a lot, but that's because I try not to use the standard generic responses people tend to give off, I personally find it a bit redundant and a waste of a comment. With 200 people saying just some form of "Cute," that doesn't really mean much. Sure it's cute, but... isn't over half the stuff you look at, too; and it doesn't really give off the sense that they spent more than a few seconds looking at the image? I think people should just try to take more time with the comments and consider the entire situation before commenting, maybe nicely critique it, comment on what you like/what you found highly interesting/your favorite part, the use of colors, shading, line space, etcetera. (Sorry for rambling with that. xD ) But anyways, good luck! If you still can't find some boxes after trying, I can try to figure out other ways to get them, and if you do go down to the post office, you can probably ask them what kind of packaging they'd recommend the best to ensure your bottles don't break when being delivered and also the shipping rates, too. There's a 25 minimum (was like that since the start) entries needed to keep the craft category in play for 1st-2nd-3rd places. Only 8 entries in so far and it's been about 6 months ^^ ;

Most people who've entered are mostly 13-15 as what I can see so I can't expect them to pay postage :[ Especially since most of their parents won't let them anyhow.
