Not long ago I heard someone said that my previous 'bookstore' illustration remind them of Japanese film 'April Story'(1998) directed by Shunji Iwai. Anyone heard of this film before by the way? The story follow the life of country girl who follow her lover to city. The film is slow, mild and tender, even boring for some people, as Japanese film would do. But it is one of my favourite film!

I decide to bring back my old bookstore illustration and recreate it into the ending part of the film, which the female protagonist running through the rain to the bookstore. Technically, this is my first time create 'raining' scene in 3D, so this is quite challenge.

ไม่นานมานี้ผมแอบไปเห็นมีคนบอกว่า เห็นภาพร้านหนังสือที่ผมทำแล้วนึกถึงร้านหนังสือในเรื่อง April Story ของชุนจิ อิวาอิ จริงๆก็อาจใช่ เพราะผมก็เป็นสาวกของคุณชุนจิเหมือนกัน หนังของแกช่างสะท้อนสังคมและชีวิตได้อย่างช้าๆ นุ่มละมุน เรื่อง April นี่ผมก็ชอบ เพราะมันเป็นหนังเย็นๆ ดูแล้วเย็น มีความสุข

ในงานนี้ผมเลยจับเอาร้านหนังสือร้านเดิมมาดัดแปลงให้เป็นฉากในเรื่อง April Story เสียเลย เป็นฉากในตอนจบที่นางเอกตัวเปียกปอนที่กำลังเข้ามาในร้านหนังสือ โทนสีภาพนี้ออกขรึมๆก็เพราะข้างนอกเมฆฝนมากันครึ้ม ผมพยายามปั้นเสื้อผ้าใหม่ให้ดูโบราณสมกับที่นางเอกใส่ในหนัง และหาลายเสื้อผ้าอะไรให้เหมือนต้นฉบับ แน่นอนว่ามันไม่เหมือนเท่าไหร่ครับ ในหนังเขาออกจะน่ารัก ในภาพนี่มาแบบเนิร์ดเลย

เหมือนยังเน่าไม่พอ เพราะแมวในภาพนี้ดูบวมผิดปกติจากภาพก่อนๆ อารมณ์อืดมาแล้วสามวัน

ใครอยากได้ภาพใหญ่ (1920x1200) โหลดไปได้ตามสะดวกเลยนะครับ
