Description
Just a little skeleton study. This is the kind of thing I'm doing lots of lately. Every time I decide to try my hand at something more personal, I run into something and go, "Wow, that's a problem I haven't worked out yet," and it's back to the drawing board, as it were. You know, if I weren't switching from drawing to... drawing.Related content

You vain sissy.
Nice exercise. It's a difficult subject, but definitely pays off to study it for years.

The mirror is for flipping drawings, not for studying my striking good looks.
Yeah, it's hard when your trying not to get involved with detail, when with the skeleton, there's really nothing but detail. I'm sure I'll be doing lots more of these...

There is detail everywhere, whatever you draw, the trick is to learn to ignore it. Simplify, dude, simplify ;] Squint (I'm sure you heard that one before). And yeah, the more you do (while thinking what you're doing) the better, so good for you, keep at it. Hey, look up Cole Eastburn's sketchbook on conceptart.org (username colepoopface), he had a really good way of doing anatomy studies.

Thanks for the lead. Cole's stuff is great, and he gives me hope because that apparently wasn't always true.

It's the gap between the pelvis and ribcage that's too big. Thanks for the feedback!
