Description:
This is a repost of my previous Mega Mewtwo Z piece, for this Fan Art design I wanted to go away from the basic Mewtwo design, almost all other Mega Mewtwo Z's I've seen are boring with barely any changes, When I compare the letter "Z" to Pokemon types I think Electric, so I went with an Electric-type add-on, I decided to go simple on the body and not change it so much, so it's closer to the original Mewtwo body than X and Y's forms, other then a couple body changes I went for an thunder armor look, this armor always holds an electric charge, the stronger the glow the more electric power is charged increasing M.MewtwoZ's stats overall including attack and speed, the steel bands conduct even more electric power especially while in high electric areas like thunderstorms, the feet have more support for faster attacks and better stances! I hope you guys still love it! ~RaiZhuW

Now this is an awesome design I can get behind. Also seeing the type I searched on Pokewiki and found out, that there's not a single combination of Psychic and Electric going around. Not all the other Mega Mewtwo Z are boring in my opinion. However yours is the most unique and interesting one.

Lol I didn't say they was all boring, I said most of them lol, theres some cool ones out there, Yeah the uniqe Psychic/Electric combo is one of the reason why I wanted to make him lol, and yeah I wanted to make him feel like he fits in the Mega Mewtwo family so I used features from both forms, mainly the tail, the tight curve on the end is on both M. Mewtwos, and at 1st I drew him with regular mewtwos head with the little connector from the back of the head to the shoulders, but it was boring, I then took a page out of M. Mewtwo Y's handbook, and did a full head to tail design, I liked it alot better, powerful and fast is what I was going for, notice the extra toe on each foot, more support for running than just two toes lol! if you look deep into is eye you will see a Z shaped lightning bolt too haha!

Lol it's cool I wasn't mad, no reason to post a retract statement lol, yah the head talcual connects to the lower part of the body right above the tail. that should give alot more movement than the original Mewtwo had lol, and yeah I took a page from Yveltal, and did the Letter shape in the eye, its hard to see but she's there lol, it took me forever to get that eye design just right for me lol!

Yeah, thats the main reason I picked electric, out of all of the types, its really the only one that Feels like Z to me lol, so probably most of my Z megas will probably be Electric type ahha, unless I get better ideas lol!

Lol with a Dragon/Fairy type, you'd have the perfect dragon then, he'd have a tolerance for Fairy and dragon types with is the only disadvantage of Dragon types...

Well, it wouldn't be so perfect. Extremely strong yes, but not perfect. Dragon won't harm it for sure but Fairy isn't countered by itself so it stays a weakness as does Ice. Poison and Steel would be new threats for it too. Then again it would keep its elemental resistances and gain new ones against Fighting, Dark and Bug. In total we'd have a vulnerability score of 17.5 and that's about as good as pure Electric, Poison or Fairy. Still the resistances are towards the more popular types and some of the weaknesses can be countered with one move. So a Dragon/Fairy is not perfect but it doesn't need to fear its counters as much as other Dragon types.

It's not countered but it should effect it less, it wouldnt do critical damage, maybe high damage still but not as strong as a fairy nailing a just dragon type correct?

Not really. If a Pokemon with two types receives an attack, that is neutral to one type but super effective to the other it will receive the full super effective damage like it only had one type.

Hmmm thats true, that's only true if the type is strong against it's self, where as like water on water causes resistance lol water does normal damage against water, so it creates resistance against water, take Swampert as an example he's Water/Ground, water is super effective against ground, but since he's water/ground water damage is just normal, the same would go for Fairy type because Fairy type isn't super effective against it's self, a Dragon/Fairy type would only suffer normal damage from Fairy attacks, just like Swampert only receives normal damage from Water attacks, atleast this is how type logic should equal too lol, the same can be said for Dragon type skills since they dont have any effect at all on Fairy types, it should remove the weakness to Dragon types all together... on a Dragon/Fairy type, theres going to be types that eefect it still, but I'd have to say Dragon/Fairy typed pokemon would probably be the strongest pokemon in the game...
