The Phantom shall not be mocked.For those of you who hadn't seen the Phantom of the Opera Movie that recently came out (2004), in this version the Phantom had a sort of trade-mark way of killing people by wrapping rope around their necks and strangling them. At one point, the characters are warned to "keep your hand at the level of your eye" as a way to ward off the Phantom's attack.
This is my entry for 's competition. The theme was "snow".

actually it's called a Punjab Lasso. a garrot is a stick used to tighten rope around an artery to stop bleeding.

Poor Phantom . . . can't even get respect from snowmen, so he has to do them in too. 
This is a great picture, Rakshar. I love the little pout of indignation on Erik's face as he walks away from his latest "victim". The pink earmuffs are a nice touch too. Who knew that a guy that dresses in monochromes would have a taste for neon?

The name of his weapon is called a punjab lasso, aka hangman's noose. The hand at the level of your eyes prevents the noose from strangling you because your wrist is in the middle. It's hard to explain without a visual aid...
