I wish I could have marker rendered this, but my supplier (my sister who has all the art supplies) didn't have all the colours I needed.At least I can say I'm happy at my progress using the computer!
I did this in Photoshop 7. I now used 3 colours to shade/highlight instead of just using grey to shade.I'm really proud of the silk-texture on the cape.
Yes, I know Organ Keyboards don't look like that, and are generaly not suspended in the air (atleast, not the old ones), but in my deffence, this is a PONY's keyboard.
I guess I should comment on the fact that I drew the Phantom as a My Little Pony.

Love this! I'm not the only one to have put Phantom and ponies together. I have a fanfiction Pony version of Phantom here on DA and was going to do a drawing to go with it. But yours is much better than what I'd come up with. Very nice. Really nice cape.

*wince* Owwww. Though, I always wanted to play violin - for a long time, I wished my parents had started me on *some* sort of instrument when I was young (I began piano at age 14 or so, which is why I think it didn't stick at all) because I've always been jealous of those who can make music when their words fail them. It seems like a more....... *flap* Gah, words!~ It seems like making music is one way to communicate that doesn't require translation, or grammar or context, all of which are weaknesses of *my* instinctive vessel, which is writing. I mean, I love it, and I adore being a grammar pedant, but when it comes down to it I am dependent on others if I want a Spaniard, a German, an __ to understand what I'm feeling. Artists and musicians...don't need to worry about that at all.

well, you'll be surprised. Music is so taste-specific and requires the ability to hear tone (my mother is tone deaf - nothing really moves her) and get used to genre. Writing conveys much more to a broader audience, and it can be devoid or rich in technique and one can still enjoy it.
