Description
I wish I could have marker rendered this, but my supplier (my sister who has all the art supplies) didn't have all the colours I needed. At least I can say I'm happy at my progress using the computer!
I'm really proud of the silk-texture on the cape.
Yes, I know Organ Keyboards don't look like that, and are generaly not suspended in the air (atleast, not the old ones), but in my deffence, this is a PONY's keyboard.
I guess I should comment on the fact that I drew the Phantom as a My Little Pony.
...
In my mind, it made sense.
The Phantom of the Opera (c) Gaston Leroux, Andrew Lloyd Weber
My Little Pony (c) Hasbro

my god, this could possibly be one of the best ideas every . When I saw it, I actually thought 'hey, that looks like my little pony...but there's no way she watches that...is there ?'. Did you watch it ? Either the movies or the show 'My Little Pony Tales' ? I haven't met anyone (in Canada) yet who does. Kinda sad really.

are you kidding me? i grew up on MLP, i have some of my old mlp, and yes, I did watch the movie, but it was a rather loing time ago... i am trying to get my hands on the dvd copies i know are around. I have a few more MLP crossovers on the gallery page, but I guess you'd have ot watch the show to recognize them.... There is another Pontam in there too.

yeah, I just noticed your second Pontam, and the witch hunter robin pony cross-overs. I can't believe I missed those.
I used to love MLP, and My Little Pony Tales . I watched two of the movies, and I used to own one, but they're from when I lived in the Middle East and for some reason Canadian VCR's don't support my tape format. So basically, all my tapes are down the toilet - it's too bad, so I'm looking out for the DVD's too. I'll give you a heads up if I see anything.

actually, the PAL system (mid-eats/europe version) can work on multi-system VCRs. Multi-system encorperate both PAL and NTSC. they're like, only $100 or something. so don;t throuw the tapes out yet!!!
where form the middle east?

Bahrain - it's a small island south of Saudi Arabia.
How'd you know about this PAL thing ? I've never heard of it before, but I definately plan to check it out. It'd just be such a waste to chuck out all my old tapes ^^, I think I still have most of them holed up in a box in my garage.

I moved ot the middle east for 8 years before returning to canada myself, so I found out about the PAL NTSC thing. All you need is a multisystem vcr, you'll be able to watch all your old tapes.

Hehe . . . too cute to be scary. Though you've got to wonder what he's like beneath the mask.
Great idea for an image, Rakshar. I like how you kept it relatively simple so that nothing detracts from the "Pontam". The shading of the cape and mane are particularly stunning. Nice job!

This is fantastic. The drawing is very well done and the pose is perfect. I love your choice of colours. The red hair with the black cape and the white skin works perfectly. He's so handsome like Gerard Butler. It's very good of you to make the two different colour whites different hues. A lot of people don't know to do that with similar colours. I really love the shadow of the mask on the cheek bone. It really adds a lot of form. I know you like using markers, but you should really keep working on your photoshop skills, as they are getting very good! You guys really need a tablet!

I'm so flattered, i'm floored! All those nice words from a Master artist... i think i'm going to squelch with joy! *squelch*
... you wrote Gerard Butler on by purpose.
Yes! i toned them differently on by puropse, i didn't want people thinking the mask was flat or part of his face! i'm glad it came off well!
Ah, and the reddish-black hair... very sexy.
Ponies are sexy.

Omg! This is the coolest! *SQUEEEE!!!* Your ponies expressions are awesome! And the coloring on the cape is excellent... your use of lighting is perfect too, it looks like an overhead lit stage. I love the way he's sitting up, it's just so adorable! Great job!!!
