Description
I do not consider myself to be a lucky man. Even though luck has been proven to exist and is a mathematical and logical result of probability, some people still believe that it is made up. Well those people are clearly not aware of how lucky they are.
I, on the other hand, am very much aware of my bad luck. Because if you have to go on a Spacewalk, because one of two maintenance arms broke, whilst it was fixing the other one, you pretty soon realize that luck isn’t something you get to enjoy.
And yet, some people might still say that I’m lucky.
Because if you’re alone in a tin can, lightyears away from civilization you are lucky if you’re able to notice a problem. For when you’re in space, every problem you become aware of, is a good thing.
Because the one problem you don’t notice, will be the end of you.
I learned a long time ago that if you have time to think about a problem, everything will be ok.
But eventually, you still have to solve the problem…
Luckily for me
In space, no one can hear you Cuss.
