"May the winds of destiny carry you aloft.'
I tried to create depth to the clouds using simple variations in tone and value, with the spotlight reserved for the more saturated colours and light values.
A lot of this painting was about edges, and I had an enjoyable exploring them.

ha, wow, I- I really don't know what to say anymore! I love the colors and the way the dragon is added into the composition is just breathtaking.

It might be just me, but something about it is so uplifting. I wish the print available was bigger, though.

I was about 9 years old, seating outside on the sidewalk of our house in Jalisco Mexico and it just gotten dark. I was admiring the cloud shapes and a full moon when I saw this winged creature flying above the clouds and I thought, that thing is a giant bat! As I grew older I got to thinking it was probably a gigantic owl. But now that I see this painting I got to say it was a definitely a dragon.
