Wouldn't this Rider be female, since the R Nazca form came from Saeko using the memory? But I can understand why redrawing it with a more feminine shape would be too much work for a freebie.

I'm not even sure if the person that became the Nazca Dopant is the same person that became a rider. ziginz wrote a story for this guy. I just draw the stuff.Β
I do imagine this being possible by acquiring the memory booster that Accel Booster found. But I'm not really a story writing guy.Β

So far I've had him being an alternate version of Kirihiko (had to look up his name. been a while) via a Decade style AR world or just general AU version of Fuuto. That said it could easily be just about anyone with a lost Driver and compatibility with the memory. I do like the memory booster idea or that this is a natural evolution of the memory sort of like what Cyclone was going through right before they got Xtreme or how Crystal Skull was an incomplete version of Skull only to "mature" into the real thing. Huh...just realized Narumi was Skull for almost a decade before W even started, and that the Museum had a lot of fore knowledge of Nazca and its functions. You could easily say this was the form of some previous user who was a rival/foil to Narumi in the years before W. Mental note.Β
Anyway just a few general ideas and there are tons more! The sky ain't no limit.Β

I always did consider Skull as a Showa Rider.Β
But yeah having Nazca evolve into Nazca Red does sound possible too. But wouldn't it be overkill? The blue one was certainly powerful already.Β

When you're near the end of a series and have a character people love but don't want to shill out the cash to make a new suit for his new power up form you didn't know you needed but the fans are itching for, there really is only one answer! Recolors and Kit Bashing! Oh the toy sales alone would make back the money and then some! Amazing.Β

That could be the case for the Dopants, either that orΒ Saeko Sonozaki (Taboo Dopant) is just stronger thanΒ Kirihiko Sudo (Original Nazca Dopant). So Saeko using the Nazca memory and becoming Red or Nazca R is just showing us the difference in power. Or it could possibly just merged the colors of Taboo and Nazca.? lol

Any of those sound plausible. It could also be because she inserted the memory directly, instead of using a Gaia Driver like Kirihiko did.

What's the difference between direct insertion and thru the driver? I thought it was just to keep the user sane because the gaia memories might affect the users mind or something. lol

Yeah, it was to keep them from going crazy or getting addicted, but I remember hearing that they also reduce the Memory's power (probably an unavoidable trade-off), which the Sonozakis compensate for by using the most powerful memories.

Yeah, without the driver Dopants like Terror and Utopia would be even more powerful, although they might also be threats to the users, since such powerful memories probably have some killer side-effects.

But I think the manga is merely an adaptation of the light novel. At some point I think we'll see Kamen Rider Cyclone in on the manga.Β
