Description This is the partner painting to my Blonde Lab, and in fact, I matted them together in one mat with two openings. It makes for a very nice framed piece, I think. This is a black labrador retriever - they're amoung the most popular dogs around here.
He's 5" by 7", so it's very small, watercolour of course.

My father's favorite kind of dog. I was surrounded by these dogs when I was a kid. They are nice dogs, gentle, and kind, but BOY do they STINK! I personally do not like these dogs because of their constant odor. They were fun to play with in the water though. Our dogs were trained duck hunting dogs.

I've never had a black lab, but they strike me as being awfully smart. Sorry to hear they have that wretched odor, but I think it would probably not compare to Mojo's breath!

They are quite smart. They're also incredibly nice dogs. But their odor..... Woooeeee! It's terrible! They are water dogs so their coat is naturally coated with oils. These oils pick up dirt and such quickly. This obviously stinks. Then their breath would rival even Mojo! And they would probably rival your Rottie too in the other end's department!

I wonder if Astro would look like this when he grows up, which isn't very long because Labs grow up rapidly. I LOVE your dog paintings. I really like the way you painted the fur and the shine.

He doesn't have a dentist - he washes his teeth with Groutgo, the amazing all-purpose washing powder!
