It's not a reptile, its a distant descendant of leptictidium.

But the elephants and the dragons don't know this

It must have been the result of a typo, though: Instead of a dragon slaying an elephant, it was a dragon laying an elephant.

And that's how typos have the power to ruin everything or make everything better xD

I like this but what about the tusks and can you make a grey variant?

No tusks because of the teeth were decided to come from dragons rather than from elepannts and whether I chan change the colour or not depends on what stage the working file was saved last.

Well, making an elephant-based kaiju does sound pretty sensible to me.

Interesting Fact: in persian mythology, dragons DO have trunks!

I have seen pictures of those, but never assumed them to actually have trunks. Looked more like a long upper lip to me. Interesting, since several east Asian depictions have the trunk/lip, too.

He looks like he just told a joke and is very pleased about how humorous it was.
Or then he is just being really trolly. "Yo mama's so fat, Human, that even I got lost inside her".
In other news, long days and preparing for exams kept me from taking part in the last stream.

Very likely, the skin grooves are based on those of whales, and those use them to give their skin an extra stretch.

This is really cool!
the face is apropriatly menacing, while still appearing relaxed. The sense of scale that this thing drags into the painting though that is to be appreciated!
