О нет! Они добрались до той мерзкой синей штуки? Мы обречены! У них появились мозги!

You're right, brains would make them far more dangerous.

You know, this reminds me of what we were discussing in From Science Fiction to Fact class the other day... which was how birds evolved from dinosaurs and how scientists can manipulate a chicken embyro's DNA so it expresses the dormant traits of serrated teeth and tails and such.... like a raptor.

XD Which is kinda scary...

I find it awesome. Too bad the retro-engineered chickens never make it past their embryonal stage.

Maybe someday when that technology becomes more advanced, you can have your own little pet raptor.

I would go for the cat-sized jumping spiders.

Is this the Therizinosaurus Wasteland version? If not, I still have something to picture while writing about that same Boombo alteration.

Yes, exactly. The blue glowing parts say all.

It looks awesome! An old rival for the blues to face...
I may be writing about them fairly soon... I've started a new story today, Mother of Evil. Rose's travels. They make a pretty epic tale, I suspect, even apart from Sayron's birth. And it features the Cataclysm!

"And it features the Cataclysm!"
DO WANT!

I´m currently in Spree, but when the Tower blows up I´ll be rushing right out before the waves of glowing blue nuclear madness. I think I can do justice to the creation of the Wasteland. Just bear with an easy, quiet start with Rose moving back to her former castle and grieving for the old Overlord, and the madness will arrive soon enough...
Oh, and the loss of the Minion tribes. I´ll also go over their Exodus.

This sounds better and better. (By the way, I noticed there is a single Brown running around in a toque hat in my horde. I'm in the Everlight jungle right now.)

That´s enough motivation to sneak out and write this week!
Nice! Sounds like Kniff is staying with the Master for once.

Aside from the one married to his hat there is a single one with a centurion helmet and the obvious survivor champion. That game file is weird...

Sunjinjo In reply to Ramul [2010-05-09 21:58:02 +0000 UTC]

Very nice! A single centurion, that is quite rare. Well, you´ll probably encounter more of those helmets once you conquer Everlight Town...
If you get a cassowary beak I´ll fall off my chair.

Ramul In reply to Sunjinjo [2010-05-09 22:04:04 +0000 UTC]

I don't know myself why there is only one, maybe the Reds got the other helmets. A cassowary skull would be epic and the collection would be mostly complete. (Generally, the game needs more obscure animals!)

Tarsiers and mudskippers. And I must say I missed bats, a lot. Well, at least you have to give them credit for not using dragons except the one in the beginning and the one Lamaohi has put in

Ramul In reply to Sunjinjo [2010-05-10 13:43:33 +0000 UTC]

I think the "dragon" in the beginning was a device similar to a flamethrower, since dragons went extinct long ago.

Yeah, I can picture Giblet getting slighty overenthusiastic at the arrival of a new Master...
The first Mother of Evil chapter is getting on well. Probably up this week or the next. The Exodus is going to be so much fun to write

Too bad they did evolve these traits. This would have ensured their survival!
