OH SHIT BOI, BET YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING THIS.A Gift for the mighty DanSyron . Thought I would make my gift an animation, considering he's known for amazing flash animations. I was always a fan of his works and of his character Syron Grey, and I had a few days left on my AE 7 day trial, so I rushed to make him something cool before I ran out of time. I had a lot of fun drawing Syron, and I'm actually pretty proud with how this turned out. I know he enjoys electronic music, and knowing Syron's design is based around the genre, I looked around for something I thought he might approve of. Got it done just in time! Marry Birthmas, my dude! Hope you like it!

Man, you really did dive into Aftereffects headfirst.
Amazing job dude, you're getting really really good at AE! I'm incredibly impressed by how you've depicted Sy in his most recent outfit and, ironically, I dont actually know if anyone has drawn Syron's face from the exact front, myself included. i guess that solves that riddle. lol. You've done so well on this and it flows incredibly well! I also do like your music choice, although I've never heard of the artist before

Wait, were you only on a trial??? I really hope you didnt use all off that on this ;__;. I think there are ways to bootleg AE but i'm not 100% sure. I'm also very glad you didn't run out of time mid animation because that wouldve SUCKED.

I'm actually really happy that you like this! Shame on the time constraints, I wish I could have taken more time on this to make the animations flow better. Also yes, I did use the last remaining hours of my trial to make this for you, lol. But that's totally okay, I had fun making this and I really wanted to do something for your birthday. The world could always use more Syron, my dude!
I unfortunately come up with ideas of what to create next on AE almost every day, and it sucks that I don't actually own the program. With things the way they are right now with work and military going-ons here in the pacific, I have little to no time to do anything besides sleep and work. Otherwise I would be pumping these out like crazy, each time trying something new and focusing on improving. As soon as I can get enough time and motivation, I really want to excel in this program. But until then I unfortunately have to focus more on what I am contractually obligated towards, and put my aspirations aside for the time being.

Ahhh, man, Danny my man! Now this is something special. The motion along the tail is incredibly smooth, feels quite natural; the crystals as well float so cool in demeanor! Nice blinking action there too with a fade. You've got some wonderful effects on this piece!
I will say that the hair flows a little googly so to say, but it still works! I recommend experimenting more with wind effects (and no worries, I know it can be a challenge sometimes, oh dear lawdy; animating it on a 3DS XL can be freaky too), see what you can do to achieve a more organic flow; hair or fur tends to sort of flicker or flick fairly sharp in breezes, so try giving that a try next time! Though you do have down the soft flow hair does, so there ya go! Despite that, it still flows smoothly, and agh, man.... I love this whole thing. The music is perfect too! I especially love the music! <3 Then again, I am a sucker for techy music such as this!
Excellent work, Danny! This is such a super sweet birthmas gift, and an excellent way to honor Syron! I assure he'll love this to pieces!
