The Venom suit never took on the teeth and mouth until it bonded with Brock -so that's why people think this is Eddie Brock and not Peter. But the work is absolutely great!

That's not necessarily true. The symbiote's true form that it was looking to instill in Peter would have included the teeth. Basically, the symbiote was trying to turn Peter into Venom.

Gargan's Venom has eyes that cover the majority of the face and the spider symbol is much larger on the torso. Also, he does not have the white squares on the back of his hands.
Brock is much larger, physically, than Peter, so really this couldn't be any other character.

Wait, what? The current Vemon has 2 body types. The giant one that we all know and the the contained one that was used during Dark Reign. The Dark Reign one was basically the Peter Parker version, so the public would think it's Spider-Man, so IN THEORY it could be the current Vemon, who is formerly known as the Scorpion.

I'm not very familiar with the Dark Reign version and I can't find any great images of it to argue. But then again, I don't think Mac would be trying to rip the symbiote off of himself like this.

The tendril designs remind me a lot of Visceral Games' Dead Space, which is just so fitting to the theme of Venom. Very powerful image.

Venom is an alien symbiote that was given to Peter during the Secret Wars on a distant planet called Battleworld. When his costume had become ruined, he was lead to a place that would repair it. He accidentally stumbled into a prison container for the symbiote and unknowingly released it.
Since the symbiote transformed his physical appearance, he merely thought that the facility served its purpose. The suit gave him enhanced abilities, including its own unlimited supply of organic webbing. However, the alien's consciousness was subtly merging with Peter's, signifying its will to eventually dominate its host. This eventually lead to an increase in Peter's aggressiveness, and, once he managed to realize what was happening, he struggled to get rid of it.
The symbiote's weaknesses are fire and sonics, and Peter used a church bell to help him rip the symbiote from his body. By a stroke of fate, Eddie Brock stumbled upon the symbiote, and bonded with it due to a mutual hatred for Peter. Brock gained all of Peter's memories, and since Peter was its first host, the symbiote based the abilities it granted Brock on Peter's.
