Very pretty! Like others said, it's pretty much exactly like Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, but still... love the atmosphere and details. Not too sure about the sun though

I thought the same at first, but this one doesn't have the four elephants ... therefore, it isn't Great A'tuin.
Btw, really cool artwork, I liked it

See the TURTLE of enormous girth!
On his shell he holds the earth.
His thought is slow but always kind.
He holds us all within his mind.

Shen Shun Zu (the Giant Turtle from WoW: Mists of Pandaria) is based on the Chinese and some Asian cultures' belief in the world being on the back (or carapace) of a turtle. Β Of course, the Indians had elephants holding up the world, and the Titan Atlas in Greek Mythology.

Freakin' amazing. The colors, the composition, the dimensions - literally everything is just brilliant. I can't even begin to fathom how this beast came into existence. Kudos.

I've always been a bit thrown off by the concept of water flowing "down" and off the turtle's back. That's not how gravity works. The water should flow into the turtle. I understand that there are some places where thinking like that will get you thrown off a cliff to find out, though.

i love Terry Pratchett but he did not invent the world turtle, this is how many people really used to imagine our world back then, common mythologyΒ

The turtle is so well done and looks so good, the moon totally destroys the overall impression. It just doesn't fit, looks as though added just for the sake of being there, completely ... passionless.
