I find Justin Bieber to be incredibly desperate for people’s attention. In that this little Pleb is going to do ANYTHING to keep you talking about him. Normally an artist would let their music speak for them. In that the music they create is going to outlive them and continue to inspire future generations. Look, I'm all about Internet content. Whether it's web comics, creepypasta or whatever comes out. Because most of the time they do create some pretty decent videos, images, games and ideas that are light-years ahead of anything mainstream media farts out every week. I don't think it should be censored, regulated, held back or controlled. The internet should be as free and open to do whatever it damm well pleases.

Yet I draw the line when complete psychos like these dipshits go out and kill in the name of a FICTIONAL CHARACTER!!!! I have stated before that "I don't get it" with Slender. I'm not saying I dislike the character but I don't quite see the appeal in him. Or understand why he's so popular.

So these 2 kids plotted for 4 months on how to murder their friend as an offering to the Slender Man. They stabbed this poor girl 19 times and left her for dead. Thankfully the girl was found alive (just barely) and I wish her a speedy recovery. However I wish the 2 teens ill and hope they enjoy serving 64 years in prison.

Which raises the argument of should they serve time? Now granted they are minors, but this girl was stabbed 19 times!!! I think when shit like this happens age is thrown out the window and you give these two bright orange jumpsuits.

This is still attempted murder that was plotted by 2 mentally disturbed individuals. I get the impression Slender Man is being used as a scapegoat for these bellends, instead of admitting fault of their own. I'll remember that one if I'm ever in court. While I'm not exactly a fan of Mortal Kombat, I do admit the trailer looks pretty badass (mind you trailers always LOOK good but the eventual product isn't) but oddly enough it's the trailers music that has people talking. Cus what is the first thing you think of when it comes to Mortal Kombat? A game about a cross dimensional tournament of gods, assassins, demons and ninjas ripping each other apart?

Instead of something more fitting like heavy metal or 80's rock. Mortal Kombat X's trailer features Wiz Khalifa’s song “Can’t Be Stopped" which is completely out of place with the fight between Scorpion and Sub Zero. It would be like watching the Smash Bros Brawl trailer to Biggie Smalls or Tupaq.

Now I know this is just a licensed song which won't be in the game at all. Kind of like how Street Fighter X Tekken featured a ton of music promotion in its CGI trailers. Yet of all the choices you pluck from the dying music industry, you choose Wiz Khalifa?

Many people misunderstood my initial reaction to Sticks the Badger as *insert sonic fanboy shit here* but what I was actually saying was that I've seen characters like this before and they only lead to disaster. Oh sure guys, a crazy badger complete with outback stereotype is not the same as "Edgy the Shotgun" emo-ing up the place, or "Kawaii the Loli" with her annoying Chao sidekick! Now natural first impressions are expected but I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt as E3 would provide more details or a better chance to shine as it were. I do want to say to her new found fans (who I've spoken too and some of you are great people) that I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression about what I said, but I was going to give her a chance at E3.

Yet I hardly recall seeing her at the event, which makes me wonder what was the point of her reveal?

Sonic Boom is changing up the formula from being a generally average platformer title to reasonably average beat-em up adventure title. Which by Screwattack's logic makes it a BAD GAME by default. I guess they must hate Paper Mario, Mario Kart and Mega Man Legends then by that train of thought Just because a series is trying something new doesn't mean it's automatically bad! It's trying to stay relevant and ya know.... Not end up like Mega Man or Crash Bandicoot!

But I digress, what's really interesting about Sonic Boom is the new style of writing and voice direction the characters have. They actually have proper interactions instead of "lame anime dialogue" seen in previous games. However I will say my only complaint is the constant chatter/banter gets old really quick! Mind you, I'd swear I was watching a big budget movie than a new video game.

Which works as a beautiful segway into the big topic.

Sonic the Hedgehog: The Movie... Not to be confused with the poorly named ADV release of the two OVA shorts about Sonic! Or that terrible fan created movie.

After such unforgettable offerings from The Smurfs, Garfield, Transformers, Alvin & The Chipmunks, Yogi Bear, Underdog, Dragonball, G.I. Joe, Inspector Gadget, Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter and many, many more. You'll have to forgive my natural reaction to hearing about another thing from my childhood getting a live action movie!

Now it's Sonic's turn to be abused by Hollywood! The bit that stuck out with me was the part about "A CGI and Live Action Hybrid" you know kinda like EVERY live action movie based on a nostalgic thing Hollywood loves to destroy. I know I'm being heavily negative about the news but considering what we got in the past, you shouldn't be optimistic about this type of thing. These producers don't care! All they want is to milk everything dry instead of make something else!

The only positive I take away from this is Colin Firth actually walked off the project. Hopefully slowing production down a bit, or maybe even delaying it till next year. Everybody hates Ubisoft.... for all the wrong reasons!
I want to a Sitcom to be made. It would be called "Everybody hates Ubisoft" because evertime I turn around they've annoyed somebody! Yet it seems their latest haters are... *sighs* Social Justice Warriors. Yes, yes I know. This is still a thing apparently! If you're tired of hearing my thoughts on this then skip to the next part!

Let me start with the disappointingly popular opinion of Ubisoft sucks. However not for the reasons some of you may have.

While I may get on Nintendo or Microsoft's case for a lack of creativity. Ubisoft seems hell bent on driving Assassin's Creed straight into the ground! Releasing a game almost every year got incredibly old with Mega Man. Yet in 8 years, Ubisoft has farted out roughly 16 games!! Just for a comparison, in that same amount of time, Super Mario (as in the main series) only brought out 6. While Call of Duty has brought out only 12.

When you're making far too many games in too short of a time, over two of the most overdone series in history..... Holy Shit!!

Plus shouldn't the series have ended with Desmond's death? (spoiler alert)

I wouldn't consider myself on Ubisofts side about this, but I'm really just tired of pointing out the fucking obvious to these hipster faggots. Have you ever considered games starring characters like Nathan Drake or Master Chief are made because of what the majority wants or what the market generates? You know how games perform financially or profits? Now I know it's not always sound results or you shouldn't always trust monetary figures. Considering Twilight made millions when that was about as watchable as genocide! Yet more often than not "money talks" and companies base what we see or play based on our purchases! More proof is Michael Bay laughing at his haters, considering he can ride a tidal wave of cash thanks to his Transformers movies.

What this basically means is Capcom would become under the ownership of another company (A 2nd Party if you will) if they purchase over 50% of their shares. Kind of like how Walt Disney owns Marvel and Lucas Arts. This wouldn't mean R.I.P. Capcom but rather this would SAVE THEM!!! Best example of all is when Disney bought Marvel. They weren't in complete trouble per say but if somebody didn't step in.... I don't think we'd of got an Avengers movie!

The big question is WHO should own them?

Also (in a less fanboyish way) Microsoft doesn't really need them. All Microsoft have to do to get money is say "Halo" and boom! Guarantied millions. Alot of Capcom's franchises such as Viewtiful Joe, Okami, Darkstalkers or Mega Man would stick out like a sore thumb, next to Microsoft's FPS-centric audience of frat house dude bros! Plus Capcom tried to gear franchises like Resident Evil at that audience and.... Well we all know how that turned out!

Sony would be a potential choice, but considering their financial woes over the years I'm ruling them out! When you consider if they paid for Capcom, they'd also be taking on their debts at the same time. Which is money Sony really doesn't have at the moment! That and many would argue selling out to Sony was what started this whole mess with Capcom in the first place (Resident Evil 4) nothing personal to Sony but I hope it doesn't go this way! Cus it would do them more harm than good!

Sega would put a smile on my face. Just so I could get that Sonic/Mega Man game I've wanted since the Archie comic did an amazing job with it!

But if it came down to 2 choices, I'd want it to be either Disney or Nintendo.

Cus with Disney, it could see the potential revival of games like Chip and Dale or Darkwing Duck. Granted the side effect would be a terrible Ultimate Mega Man cartoon and making terrible games based off shitty Disney movies (Like Frozen) but it would be worth it just to get Marvel Vs. Capcom Vs. LucasArts Vs. Walt Disney. Or just Disney Infinity Fighter’s sounds like fun!

But the clear choice for people I noticed in a ALOT of posts and videos about this was Nintendo, and when you stop to think about it it makes the most sense. Franchises like Resident Evil and Dead Rising could help shake the "kiddy image" people label the company with, that and help win back hardcore audiences. Kind of like "Yeah the kids can have Tomodachi Life and Pokemon but will stick around for Devil May Cry and Street Fighter!" plus a Mega Man reboot to keep people happy (Besides Legends 3)

Also, to those people who say "Nintendo shouldn't get them cus they're a kids thing; Capcom wouldn't be allowed to do mature shit!" Let me happily refute those claims. Resident Evil Remake, probably one of the most terrifying titles they made is a Game Cube exclusive. Resident Evil 0 and 4 were both exclusive to Game Cube at one point. Or if you want non Capcom examples, Eternal Darkness is a creepy ass game and it's....

.... Yup, Game Cube exclusive.

Sega's House of the Dead: Overkill probably has the most F-Bombs ever dropped in a video game, alongside necrophilia, nudity and incest. Oh and did I mention that's a Wii game? You know that console made by a company that's "all kiddy!"

So yeah. Kiddy my ass folks!

With new management to answer to means new directions. Meaning Kenzo Tsujimoto and on disc DLC could be shown the door, while hopefully bringing back Keiji Inafune and Shinji Mikami to finish long awaited projects that were cancelled. Oh and don't tell me you wouldn't want to see Capcom fighters show up in the next Smash Bros? On a completely subjective viewpoint, Capcom could fill that gaping hole Rare made when they left for Microsoft.

Now. All Fanboyism aside. Let's look at the negative side effects.

One potential fear I have is "A new broom sweeps clean" meaning all previous contracts, deals or plans could be scrapped. Mainly the Archie Mega Man comic would be cancelled, because let's say Sony want to cut corners and save money. So they'll cancel comic book tie-ins and use the money for their dying movie division to make more shitty Resident Evil movies.

There's also the fear of ALL Capcom titles being exclusive to one console..... particularly a console you don't own, want or like!

Let's say for example Microsoft did acquire them. It would mean games exclusive to Xbox One. Completely destroy all chances of handheld titles for PS-Vita and Nintendo 3DS. Or if Nintendo bought them, you'd be missing out on platforms like PS4/Vita, Xbox One or PC. Which would mean gimmicky titles to incorporate a touch screen or the tablet (provided those will be a thing in the future) and Nintendo's online isn't that amazing. Eliminating Street Fighter's online potential.

That and if nobody buys them they just die and take their IPs with them. This would be truly sad.

All I take away from this is more games will be coming regardless. Whoever purchases them albeit one of the big 3 or a 3rd party entry, Capcom will still make games but will have to answer to somebody else. Meaning this "We cancelled it cus fuck you!!" mind set would not be tolerated by their parental owner. I hope this is a change in fortune for the company I predicted awhile back and I'd hate to see it get worse for them. I don't look at is as "THEY'RE GETTING WHAT'S COMING TO THEM!!!!" like so many said dipshits proclaim, but rather we're getting what's coming to us.

Casey Kasem died
Terrible news. Another piece of my childhood passed away.

Probably best known for his role as Scooby Doo's owner Shaggy. While also voicing characters for Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets, Transformers and Batman. Probably my favourite performance of his was the Scooby Doo meets Batman episodes. Just the contrast of hearing him acting opposite himself through Shaggy and Robin was always amusing to me. Kinda like watching Scott McNeil arguing with himself on shows.

I spent most of the games watching it with friends and it was a rewarding and highly amusing experience. It's been great fun, I absolutely enjoyed myself and I love the shit out of my friends! With us making up ridiculous commentary and gags on the games that I may take up watching the sport again. Not sure what team to support or even which country to watch. That said, I think I may substitute WWE for international Football in the future. Which of course brings me to something I saw coming from a mile away....

To the England football fans no doubt spewing Heineken on their monitors as they read this. I guess I should explain my bizarre hatred of what they'd say "A team I MUST support!!"

In the past, I voiced these opinions to try to offer a critique. Now I just gain massive amount of amusement from watching them fail. Then it's over for another 4 years and I move on to something else. In a similar manner to how people tune in to E3 to watch either Sony, Microsoft, EA, Ubisoft or Nintendo fail.

To say its important is like saying "England plays well" which isn't the truth at all. It's just jokes or sniping at a group of untalented wankers who should be playing better. No different than sniping at X-Factor contestants or David Cameron. That's what I do. I offer cynical views on the world and am extremely cynical about my homeland. A country that is a shell of it's former self. I'm patriotic, don't get me wrong, but I'm stupid either!

I don't call them "my team" because they don't care, which judging by how they played against Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica is proof of that. I'm not calling them out cus I'm a hater, but instead I'm calling attention to the obvious. An obvious fact that makes me wonder if I'm the only Englishman who thinks it.

England are NOT as good as they, or the lunatic pundits and fans claim they are. Play a decent game of Football and THEN will talk about you being a decent side. I guess this reaction began in 1996 when England went crashing out against Germany, which to be fair they had a decent side. You know players who gave a shit and were not overpaid premadonas!

So many failures, excuses and tournaments later. I just stopped cheering for them and developed an opposite reaction. Flat out telling people they're not going to win. Over the years they've gotten worse and nobody seems to notice it! Going back to that 1996 example for a second, England reached the semi finals (granted that's the European Cup) but these days they don't get out the group stages or didn't even qualify one time.

While I'm not exactly a fan of Mortal Kombat, I do admit the trailer looks pretty badass (mind you trailers always LOOK good but the eventual product isn't) but oddly enough it's the trailers music that has people talking. Many people misunderstood my initial reaction to Sticks the Badger as *insert sonic fanboy shit here* but what I was actually saying was that I've seen characters like this before and they only lead to disaster. Oh sure guys, a crazy badger complete with outback stereotype is not the same as "Edgy the Shotgun" emo-ing up the place, or "Kawaii the Loli" with her annoying Chao sidekick! Now natural first impressions are expected but I was going to give her the benefit of the doubt as E3 would provide more details or a better chance to shine as it were. I do want to say to her new found fans (who I've spoken too and some of you are great people) that I'm sorry if you got the wrong impression about what I said, but I was going to give her a chance at E3.

Yet I hardly recall seeing her at the event, which makes me wonder what was the point of her reveal?

Sonic Boom is changing up the formula from being a generally average platformer title to reasonably average beat-em up adventure title. Which by Screwattack's logic makes it a BAD GAME by default. I guess they must hate Paper Mario, Mario Kart and Mega Man Legends then by that train of thought Just because a series is trying something new doesn't mean it's automatically bad! It's trying to stay relevant and ya know.... Not end up like Mega Man or Crash Bandicoot!

But I digress, what's really interesting about Sonic Boom is the new style of writing and voice direction the characters have. They actually have proper interactions instead of "lame anime dialogue" seen in previous games. However I will say my only complaint is the constant chatter/banter gets old really quick! Mind you, I'd swear I was watching a big budget movie than a new video game.

Which works as a beautiful segway into the big topic.

I want to a Sitcom to be made. It would be called "Everybody hates Ubisoft" because evertime I turn around they've annoyed somebody! Let me start with the disappointingly popular opinion of Ubisoft sucks. However not for the reasons some of you may have.

While I may get on Nintendo or Microsoft's case for a lack of creativity. Ubisoft seems hell bent on driving Assassin's Creed straight into the ground! Releasing a game almost every year got incredibly old with Mega Man. Yet in 8 years, Ubisoft has farted out roughly 16 games!! Just for a comparison, in that same amount of time, Super Mario (as in the main series) only brought out 6. While Call of Duty has brought out only 12.

When you're making far too many games in too short of a time, over two of the most overdone series in history..... Holy Shit!!

Plus shouldn't the series have ended with Desmond's death? (spoiler alert)

They weren't in complete trouble per say but if somebody didn't step in.... I don't think we'd of got an Avengers movie!

Also (in a less fanboyish way) Microsoft doesn't really need them. All Microsoft have to do to get money is say "Halo" and boom! Guarantied millions. Alot of Capcom's franchises such as Viewtiful Joe, Okami, Darkstalkers or Mega Man would stick out like a sore thumb, next to Microsoft's FPS-centric audience of frat house dude bros! Plus Capcom tried to gear franchises like Resident Evil at that audience and.... Well we all know how that turned out!

Sony would be a potential choice, but considering their financial woes over the years I'm ruling them out! When you consider if they paid for Capcom, they'd also be taking on their debts at the same time. Which is money Sony really doesn't have at the moment! That and many would argue selling out to Sony was what started this whole mess with Capcom in the first place (Resident Evil 4) nothing personal to Sony but I hope it doesn't go this way! Cus it would do them more harm than good!

Sega would put a smile on my face. Just so I could get that Sonic/Mega Man game I've wanted since the Archie comic did an amazing job with it!

But if it came down to 2 choices, I'd want it to be either Disney or Nintendo.

Cus with Disney, it could see the potential revival of games like Chip and Dale or Darkwing Duck. Granted the side effect would be a terrible Ultimate Mega Man cartoon and making terrible games based off shitty Disney movies (Like Frozen) but it would be worth it just to get Marvel Vs. Capcom Vs. LucasArts Vs. Walt Disney. Or just Disney Infinity Fighter’s sounds like fun!

But the clear choice for people I noticed in a ALOT of posts and videos about this was Nintendo, and when you stop to think about it it makes the most sense. Franchises like Resident Evil and Dead Rising could help shake the "kiddy image" people label the company with, that and help win back hardcore audiences. Kind of like "Yeah the kids can have Tomodachi Life and Pokemon but will stick around for Devil May Cry and Street Fighter!" plus a Mega Man reboot to keep people happy (Besides Legends 3)

Also, to those people who say "Nintendo shouldn't get them cus they're a kids thing; Capcom wouldn't be allowed to do mature shit!" Let me happily refute those claims. Resident Evil Remake, probably one of the most terrifying titles they made is a Game Cube exclusive. Resident Evil 0 and 4 were both exclusive to Game Cube at one point. Or if you want non Capcom examples, Eternal Darkness is a creepy ass game and it's....

.... Yup, Game Cube exclusive.

Sega's House of the Dead: Overkill probably has the most F-Bombs ever dropped in a video game, alongside necrophilia, nudity and incest. Oh and did I mention that's a Wii game? You know that console made by a company that's "all kiddy!"

With new management to answer to means new directions. Meaning Kenzo Tsujimoto and on disc DLC could be shown the door, while hopefully bringing back Keiji Inafune and Shinji Mikami to finish long awaited projects that were cancelled. Oh and don't tell me you wouldn't want to see Capcom fighters show up in the next Smash Bros? On a completely subjective viewpoint, Capcom could fill that gaping hole Rare made when they left for Microsoft.

Now. All Fanboyism aside. Let's look at the negative side effects.

One potential fear I have is "A new broom sweeps clean" meaning all previous contracts, deals or plans could be scrapped. Mainly the Archie Mega Man comic would be cancelled, because let's say Sony want to cut corners and save money. So they'll cancel comic book tie-ins and use the money for their dying movie division to make more shitty Resident Evil movies.

There's also the fear of ALL Capcom titles being exclusive to one console..... particularly a console you don't own, want or like!

Let's say for example Microsoft did acquire them. It would mean games exclusive to Xbox One. Completely destroy all chances of handheld titles for PS-Vita and Nintendo 3DS. Or if Nintendo bought them, you'd be missing out on platforms like PS4/Vita, Xbox One or PC. Which would mean gimmicky titles to incorporate a touch screen or the tablet (provided those will be a thing in the future) and Nintendo's online isn't that amazing. Eliminating Street Fighter's online potential.

That and if nobody buys them they just die and take their IPs with them. This would be truly sad.

All I take away from this is more games will be coming regardless. Whoever purchases them albeit one of the big 3 or a 3rd party entry, Capcom will still make games but will have to answer to somebody else. Meaning this "We cancelled it cus fuck you!!" mind set would not be tolerated by their parental owner. I hope this is a change in fortune for the company I predicted awhile back and I'd hate to see it get worse for them. I don't look at is as "THEY'RE GETTING WHAT'S COMING TO THEM!!!!" like so many said dipshits proclaim, but rather we're getting what's coming to us.

Terrible news. Another piece of my childhood passed away.

Probably best known for his role as Scooby Doo's owner Shaggy. While also voicing characters for Gatchaman/Battle of the Planets, Transformers and Batman. Probably my favourite performance of his was the Scooby Doo meets Batman episodes. Just the contrast of hearing him acting opposite himself through Shaggy and Robin was always amusing to me. I spent most of the games watching it with friends and it was a rewarding and highly amusing experience. It's been great fun, I absolutely enjoyed myself and I love the shit out of my friends! With us making up ridiculous commentary and gags on the games that I may take up watching the sport again. Not sure what team to support or even which country to watch. A country that is a shell of it's former self. I'm patriotic, don't get me wrong, but I'm stupid either!

I don't call them "my team" because they don't care, which judging by how they played against Italy, Uruguay and Costa Rica is proof of that. England are NOT as good as they, or the lunatic pundits and fans claim they are. Play a decent game of Football and THEN will talk about you being a decent side. I guess this reaction began in 1996 when England went crashing out against Germany, which to be fair they had a decent side. You know players who gave a shit and were not overpaid premadonas!

So many failures, excuses and tournaments later. I just stopped cheering for them and developed an opposite reaction. Flat out telling people they're not going to win. Over the years they've gotten worse and nobody seems to notice it! Going back to that 1996 example for a second, England reached the semi finals (granted that's the European Cup) but these days they don't get out the group stages or didn't even qualify one time.

Shouldn't that be a sign of something is seriously wrong?

Yet all I saw on TV, Newspapers, fans etc was nothing but excuses. It was always somebody else’s fault and constantly playing the victim. No, how about the side you proudly chant "INGLUUUNNND INGLUUUUND INGLUUUUNND!!!!" Like monotone zombies at are just completely terrible and something needs to be done! So no, I won't cheer for a team that doesn't care and only goes to get a paycheque and a vacation.

Lastly, I was going to comment on a piece of Internet Drama involving a certain Sonic fan and underaged girls. I've decided not to because I want to see where this goes.

In closing, June was alot of fun. Now if only the rest of the year can follow suit
