Oh what a month it has been. Not going to dwell too much on things, but can I just say that things really didn't go the way people wanted in April? As always, requests will be taken for future Month Reviews. I won't be writing a small summary for every item, mainly the ones I have something to say and I'll let the panel speak for itself. If something was missing, let me know in the comments and it'll be in the April Recap at the start of May's Month Review.

I have decided to keep the Politics to a minimum now. Now before anyone shouts "TROY SUPPORTER!" You are aware that applies to WORLD politics, not just America? I've also excluded the latest Jeremy Corbyn antisemitism scandal, Amber Rudd's resignation, Emmanuel Macron can't keep his fucking mouth shut, or the fact the DNC tried to sue the planet for the failed "Muh Russia" narrative.

If I exclude Troy, I exclude the rest. But I did state that Political News relating to war would be excluded, so let's begin with the possible end of the Korean Wars.

If you wanted my opinion on why the negotiations are happening, I'd say it was less about Troy's tweets but more so that North Korea took a look at the bigger picture. A friend of mine walked me through North Korea's entire arsenal and technology. After reading through things you quickly begin to realize they're more Dan Hibiki than the M.Bison people would have you believe they are. If I was surrounded by other nations, both larger and more destructive than my own, and are downright pissed off with my actions as of late, I'd probably take the option where I come out of this alive.

Colour me cynical, but if a nation was threatening to "nuke the planet" for over 30 years and has yet to do, does cause me to question if they're infact full of shit. I also doubt this has any relation to the recent Syria attacks (we'll get to that in a second) but as I said earlier. The bigger picture lays out that if Kim Jong Un carries on as he is now, we'll be referring to him in the past tense. Personally I really hope this leads to some good news at last. The President is meeting with Un this month and I pray to god both of them shut up and keep on topic!

I like to avoid popular opinion mainly out of an utter disgust for status quo and the mob mentality it brings. But even my alleged contrarianism cannot argue with the popular vote here. In order for you to understand my outright disapproval of this latest bombing run, I need to share something. I recently purchased Yakuza 6 for the PS4, so I ventured into the neighboring city-cesspit that is a stone throw from my small utopia. I'd call it quiet but I trust you saw the Boy racer rant. I think the disheartening thing I saw was the rise of homeless people piling up the streets. No joke, I counted. It was about 20 people piling up on street corners or outside the shops. If you're thinking "Oh that's not a big number!" consider that on previous outings over the years....

I know Americans love to paint good old blightey as this beacon of Liberal Virtues, but in reality it's a fucking shithole. Homelessness is on the rise, schools are underfunded and what little money we have is being spent on missiles to bomb Assad into the ground. I feel like marching into that war room, where Theresa May is cosying up to Emmanuel Macron and Troy, grab her by the scruff of her neck, drag her kicking and screaming into that high street, and then point at those people while yelling this at her.

Dishonest people who promised to give people what they want (Brexit, NHS repair, better schools and reducing homelessness) but instead give the bureaucrats exactly what they want (Assad's head on a spike). I guess the only major positive to come out of this whole catastrophe would be the possible end to the Korean War. You've flooded the market with reboots, sequels, prequels, remakes and other shit NOBODY was asking for. Now you pay for your actions. Now, you may see this news as something bad. Last time I said that Doug apparently quit the site. Well it turns out he didn't and the company is rebranding as "The Nostalgia Critic." In a blatant act of sorry not sorry, Doug just pissed away what little credibility he had left. It'd be funny if it wasn't so pathetic, but the fucker has made his bed. He can get fucked in it.

From a sinking ship 9 years in the making, to a garbage fire that took one prerecorded "live-stream" to ruin so many careers and provide me with hours of entertainment.

Apart from sounding like a sequel to Cool Cat saves the Kids, this is probably one of the biggest jokes I have seen since Mass Effect: Andromeda. For those of you with actual lives, people like to shit talk when playing video games. It's been something attached to not just gaming, but a lot of popular sports and culture across history. You'll hear words like faggot or retarded as a means to mock a players ability or to have a laugh with friends. However seeing how the soybean latte drinking hipsters have muscled into gaming culture, we have to do this THEIR WAY now. Everyone has to play nice, be friendly, and "ACCEPT THAT WOMEN ARE THE DOMINANT SPECIES AND EVERY STRAIGHT WHITE MALE IS A NAZI AND OR HITLER!!!!" They planned to achieve this with the BullyHunters, this super scary "SJW-Anon" that knows what you play, they are coming for you, and this is not a game (despite the fact it is a game).

Now the prerecord live-stream was hosted by a woman I'm going to refer to as "UndedLandwhale" because she doesn't want her name or likeness to be featured in anyway, and since I'm a Gentlemen I will comply to her request (even if this is just a text summary). Nice playboy shoot btw.

So how did they plan for this service to work? Say you're playing an online shooter (They used CS:Go for the example) and someone calls you a bitch. You stop playing, open up the BullyHunter app, text one of these people, they log into the game, and they will kill the bully for you (instead of you learning to get better at the game) with the calling card "Harassment is not a game" or something stupid like that.

OR you could simply press the mute button.

Even in the initial concept there is no guarantee this service would work. What if the BullyHunter couldn't join due to the lobby being full? What if you're playing in Ranked Mode where no new players are allowed to join? What if the Bully leaves the game just as the BullyHunter joins the match? What if the Bully is an incredibly skilled player and "Hunts the BullyHunter?" What if the people behind this disaster realized you can only hear your own team in voice chat? What if bullies "decided to have fun" with this service? Or what if YOU JUST PRESSED THE MUTE BUTTON!!??

What really turned this into a garbage fire was the fact it was faker than CNN's election coverage. The 3 million women they claimed to have been harassed was taken from a 2012 survey, but the ACTUAL number wasn't 3 million women.... But in fact 84 women. Their symbol looked oddly similar to the Zodiac Killer. The one hour "live-stream" was rehearsed and ended after 35 minutes. Their official website linked the wrong Twitter account by accident so their predictable hate comments went to somebody not associated with their movement. Meaning an organization dedicated to fighting online abuse, played a hand in online abuse.... Oh and that account belong to a male survivor of r*pe.

The Victim and Bullyhunter operated under the same account in a staged match that was played out by actors. By that I mean when they cut to the victims live feed people quickly noticed her location magically jumped from safe house to in game map. Meaning the "live coverage" was prerecorded bullshit. Their psychologist expert was actually a man who specialized in diabetes and the entire promotion existed to sell you headsets. Said headsets owned by a company that quickly backed out when they saw the damage done to their brand.

Oh and it turns out UndedLandwhale used homophobic slurs.

In an result about as predictable as a sun rise, the BullyHunters was officially closed down after being open for less than 24 hours, and everyone involved is doing damage control for this career ending disaster. I don't speak for anyone but I like to believe this was the Internet's collective response to this entire train wreck.

In all seriousness, harassment is something that shouldn't be tolerated and women should feel welcome in gaming. However, taking on the role of a vigilante hitsquad that doesn't know shit and wanted to flog you headsets is the WRONG way to go about this. Making up statistics and other bollocks made you all look like fools and handed another victory to those "bullies" you wanted to fight. I'm not saying these idiots, pseudo-psychologists, headset salesmen, or UndedLandwhale can't be apart of the culture, far from it. You're all more than welcome to join in on the fun. While I am happy to hear he's gonna be walking away from this without prison time, I am disgusted with the direction the UK has gone in recently. I hate to break it to you, Scotland, but a joke is NOT a crime! Dankula was convicted of training his Pug dog, Buddha, to react to a phrase that rhymes with "Pass the News" (playing it safe since context is irrelevant). A trial that lasted 2 years, and ended with the fine of £800. I've seen the video in question and I really believe the judge is humorless for I found nothing to be overly offensive. Yes he said "pass the news" but it's the extremity of the situation that makes it funny. It's a cute little pug dog raising it's tiny paw to one of the worst phrases in human history. While not the same, it's the same context as my Cute Yet Offensive Panda character. The joke is it's an overally cute animal saying and behaving in a distasteful manner.

THAT'S THE JOKE!

But as usual, the mainstream media spun it into the usual bollocks about how Dankula's a Nazi and or Hitler. Also consider that the complaint came from the Scottish police themselves, and that Dankula had Jewish people defending him (cus they have a sense of humour) to show support on the day of his conviction.

Ya wanna know the truly sad part about all of this? A similair thing happened back in the 1940's, where a guy trained his dog to do a Nazi salute, and the Nazi Party didn't pursue legal action. That really says something when Adolf himself was less a prick than people who never stop screeching about him. I also love how this entire case seems to be in defense of the actual Nazis, when Dankula made the video to piss off his girlfriend, AND that the Nazis were the butt of the joke.

Can't imagine that when the man put out a gofundme to get an appeal put in place, he got £157,158 in a GoFundMe to fight the verdict and to remove section 127 of the 2003 communications act.
