Description
This was originally a longer page, but I've split it in half for I've had some new ideas for SIA that will need additional sprites. This arc will be coming to an end soon as SIA has a few opponents left. I originally wrote Jessie out of the story but, once again, I've had some ideas involving "God Vs. Machine" which should be fun.

While I'm on the subject of SIA, it seems my general fears/hatred of artificial intelligence is becoming a more common one. The current Hollywood writers strike is largely due to the involvement of A.I. subroutine's writing scripts for movies. That explains the lack of quality and imagination at the very least.

I've also got a bet going on with myself at the moment: By the year's end, record lables will begin to sue Youtube for the use of A.I. programs singing various pop tunes; much like how Eminem and Metallica had a tanturm over the likes of Napster back in the day. I personally think it's pretty harmless, but celebrities and corporations don't have a sense of humour and believe ANYTHING is robbing them of millions of dollars they don't actually deserve.

The other bet I have is Disney will attempt to extend the copyright protection of Mickey Mouse by another 20 years, but will fail miserably.

How this all ties back into SIA is that humans always fear what they don't understand, or a fear that they'll be replaced by someone or something. A common theme in a lot of science-fiction is that of humanity being replaced by machines, or the machines drive humanity to extinction. While I'm trying to avoid that tiresome cliche with SIA, I regonise it exists for a reason.

I sum up SIA with "fear through intelligence." She is a highly advanced piece of technology, but the implications behind her are very concerning and potentially dangerous. She represents a fear I have about our own future and destiny.
