On January 5th, 2009, Elena's daddy went home to be with the Lord.
She is doing well, but I am heartbroken for her.
Please continue to pray for her family and remember her (and me) in your prayers.

A dear friend, Elena, was a big fan of the original "Freedom" painting that I had done in bolivia found here-->[link] and asked me to re-paint it for her father. Her father is currently struggling with throat cancer, and has lost the ability to talk. Elena loves her daddy very much and is having a rough time dealing with his illness... so whatever I could do to brighten their days is worth it.
Please keep Elena and her father in your prayers. It would mean the world to them, and to me.
