Okay. In my quest to learn how to use Photoshop CS, I've been colouring linearts left, right, and centre, and I spotted [link] byI will hold my hands up now and say that I have no idea who Katchoo and David are, or what they come from. I just know they're apparently (c) Terry Moore. I should probably have gone looking for some sort of reference, but I just wanted to colour this picture so these probably look nothing like they're meant to. I apologise profusely to Terry Moore and all fans. *cough* But I think it looks pretty.

Yes - I didn't bother (cardinal sin) to check up on the characters before I actually coloured it. Oh well.

no it doesnt matter, it was a coloring excersize and i never look up the original coloring when i do that. i probably would have made katchoos hair pick and davids blue if i didnt know better

Katchoo is perfect, but David's white and Japanese, so he's much paler (but I love how you coloured him!).

Yeah, like I said, I'd never heard of the characters until I looked them up after colouring. I was trying to experiment with different skin tones, and I'd never really coloured mixed-race before so I tried it. Since I have this miserable reluctance to re-do art, I won't be re-colouring this!

Ohh very nice the shading on the sheets is excellent but the skin tones are beautiful to very different skin colours yet both are top notch. Exellent job

I've finally found out the secrets of skin tones that suit cartoon-like pictures! It took a lot of sampling from anime pictures to get the idea, but I'm getting there.

Oh wow! nice colors! I like the different textures you achieved also. You're pretty acurate on the characters. That's Katchoo's coloring exactly, and David is like half-Asian.

Yes, sorry. I actually went and looked up Terry Moore and Katchoo and David, and stared at the colour picture I found, and said 'bum' when I saw David's colouring. Oh well.
