I bought my brother the now-almost-impossible-to-find Suikoden game (PAL version) for Christmas. He swapped it years ago and has searched since then. We went on a Suikoden glut in the last two weeks, completing it twice - once without all the characters, and once with (Gremio LIVES!). I acted as the cheerleading squad, smart-alec, artist-in-residence and occasional idiot-who'll-run-around-and-fight-for-hours-to-level-up-brother's-characters.

I'll probably get jumped all over for this, but there was something about Flik that begged me to make him cry like a little girl and plead for mercy. And he seemed the kind of person who's big on looks and colour coordination. Plus I liked the idea of Gremio having a hither-to unseen evil streak. Oh and the 'hero' gets named by you - I don't know if there's a default name or not.
