Description
You stood at a stall in the market, looking through all the beautiful necklaces and bracelets. All of them caught your eye and you have no idea which one to get. You could get a few but you needed some money for some video games you wanted to buy. The stall had blue bracelets, pink watches, green necklaces and heaps more.Walking to the other side of the stall, you accidentally bumped into someone. Looking up, you saw a man, probably around 18 or 19 with sandy blond hair with a cowlick and baby blue eyes.
‘Wow… he’s pretty handsome,’ you thought. ‘Wait… I need to apologise!’
“Um! Sorry! I’m sorry for bumping into you!” you said quickly. The man just looked at you, with a huge smile.
“It’s okay, dudette! It’s no problem!” the man said in a loud voice. You winced a bit as it did hurt your ears.
“So, by the way, I’m _______,” you said, holding your hand out for a handshake.
“I’m Alfred. You can call me Alfred the Hero if you want. Or Alfred if you want,” Alfred said as he shook your hand. His hand was bigger than yours but it was comforting and you knew he didn’t mean any harm.
“Why are you here, Al? Isn’t bracelets and necklaces a bit too girly for a hero like you?” you asked with an eyebrow raised.
“Haha! Well, I’m here because I wanted to get my sister (Amelia, Fem!America) something. Her birthday is coming up. But I don’t think she wants any of these things. She’s more of a gamer herself. So anyways, I gotta go! See you later!” Alfred said. Before he went, he slipped a small piece of paper into your hand and ran off through the sea of people. You looked at the piece of paper and realised that it was his phone number. You smiled and continued to look at the stall to find something.
~A few days later~
You and Alfred had been texting each other for 3 days and you have learnt a lot of things about him. Like his hamburger obsession and his love of video games. Also how he loves horror movies but you figured he was scared of them since he was being a bit too confident of himself.
Today was like any other day. However, there was a special occasion. It was the day of the anime convention. You were going to cosplay as (favourite character) from (favourite anime). You had finished making it 2 weeks ago and you have fallen in love with it.
You got dressed and headed out. You were going to take the train since finding a place to park is a pain in the rear end. However, you knew that there were many other cosplayers going to take the train so you had to be careful since they had fake weapons. Even though they are fake, they can do some serious damage.
You boarded the train and looked around. You noticed a group of people cosplaying from Ouran Highschool Host Club. You also noticed an Edward Elric and Roy Mustang from Fullmetal Alchemist. You spotted a gang of people cosplaying zombies from the Walking Dead. It was a beautiful sight. Well, not the zombies. They weren’t beautiful but you get the idea.
You found an empty spot next to a man cosplaying as (other favourite character) from (other favourite anime). You smiled and walked up and sat down, smiling at the man.
“Hi! How are you? I notice that you are (character) and I have to say that I love it!” you said, trying not to enter into fangirl mode. The man turned towards you and smiled softly.
“I’m good, thank you for asking. And yes, I love (character) too! The character is very… cool,” the man said. It was clear that he was Japanese because of his accent.
“I’m _______. What’s your name?” you asked, holding your hand out for a handshake.
“I’m Kiku. Kiku Honda,” Kiku said. He didn’t return the handshake. “Sorry. I don’t rike to invade people’s personar space,”
“Oh, it’s okay. It’s fine. People have different opinions,” you said, putting your hand down.
For the entire day, you and Kiku walked around the anime convention, talking about your favourite anime, characters and even ships. Kiku didn’t mind you fangirling over anime characters. The entire day went so quickly and it was already afternoon and you and Kiku had to go home.
“It’s been so much fun! I hope we get to see each other again!” you said. You wrote your number on a piece of paper and handed it to Kiku. “Just so we can talk more about stuff!”
Kiku smiled at you and took the piece of paper. You two said your goodbyes and were off going back home. Kiku was going to take the train back to his house while one of your friends was picking you up.
‘Wow, meeting new friends within 3 days? That’s like a new record for me!’ you thought happily.
However, little did you know, the fun was only starting.
