yeey first submission of '09for a school literary journal
tried a different painting approach. it looks so different from the pencil drawing....
recently, Ive rather grown fond of roses. white roses, blue roses... such a strong symbol of beauty and vanity while a white rose can also mean sanctity, divinity...
but anyways

Roses are also symbol of passion and pain. And white ones in Italy, Sicilia, mean "despair".
Perfect mood, to my mind. A bit gloomy, sad, but still of "sanctity" is also here - I'll use the word you said.
