To be fair, "Mine eyes" is just something my grandfather would say, along with eyes, tail, and heart, and I was mostly making fun of his own poor English form when he first moved here from Holland. We kids just sort of picked it up. And yes, it's bad grammar, Homonym is referring to a sub-section of grammar, the subject of words that sound and/or are written alike, but mean different things, like two, to, and too.Β

I don't know English is use in many culture/country/expressions I'm not sure 100%, but I always though My is the Possessive determinants and Mine the adjectif...but it's possible I'm wrong English rules are not like French rules
