Description So I took my old piece 'Phinneas 'O' Mallyce, off of death row. It was really beat up and impossible to bring back to it's original look so I'm making him completely different. I beat him up a little and aged him a lot. I turned his hand so it looks like he's asking for a handout...(maybe a soul...hee hee) I'm still going to have his little imp on his shoulder though. I'm going to call him 'REALLY Ol Scratch'. It's been a fun sculpture to work on. Hope you all like it!

You know my thoughts on this guy. He's very cool. I too loved the old look, i wish he couldve been salvaged, but this new version is equally cool in a different way. The father was a bit whimsical, this guy is creepy and evil. Big change but i like it. I look forward to seeing him complete. Are you going to paint up a copy Randy?

I really needed to make him darker. I'm going to be marketing these kinds of things separately from my more light hearted work.
Gotta come up with a pen name or separate more creepy sounding business name now.
Something like, 'Alter-ego Productions' or something to that effect.

How about this for an alter ego: Pickman Models....if you're not familiar with the reference it's from a famous H.P. Lovecraft story called Pickman's Model....look it up. It's a subtle play on the possessive and plural 's' that only fans will get...I was going to use it years ago for a garage kit company I was working on starting with a friend.

Gonna have to throw that one in to the ring and see what feels the best.
I'm new to this garage kit thing so it's kind of exciting to have a new outlet for my darker work.

He's still got that boyish smile that first won me over the first time... But... I miss the old Father He was my favourite of favourites. I know Tiia. I thought of you while I was posting it.
I loved the old Father too, but the more I looked at him, the more I didn't like certain things about him.
Plus, he had gotten so beat up from sitting on the floor, it became easier to make him more wrinkly and old and more weathered.
I should have performed a wake of sorts...
