Thanks so much Jeff...That's such a compliment because I know what it was like to be there at ACC.

I'd see so many children, elk, deer, ducks etc. etc. etc. but nothing that really stood out.
When I met Jerome I remember him saying how he hadn't cast anything in bronze because he didn't feel he had done anything worthy of being cast. That blew me away because of how incredibly talented he is, but it also made me re-think the way I sculpt.
He introduced me to Mark Newman while we were out there a few years back and those two have been a great inspiration for what I do.

I remember hearing Jerome say that too. Crazy huh? I just checked out Mark Newman's stuff. Beautiful work! I love finding out about new artists...new to me anyway. I also noticed that you submit to Spectrum. I've submitted for the past three years in a row with no luck. I'm going to submit again this year...but in May I'm attending Spectrum Live in Kansas city. Almost everyone on the guest list is some kind of hero to me so I'm looking forward to meeting them and seeing what I can do to push myself to the next level. Sorry,that Spectrum bit was really off topic...it just popped into my head mid comment

We often stay with them when we are out there in California or Jerome and Adie...you would really like both couples....lot's of fun to be with.
Yeah, that Spectrum is quite the book...
I was lucky enough to get my Metamorph-fish in one year and then the Little Nosferatu another.
You never know what the judges are going to like from year to year.
Your work would be a shoe in, I would think.
I'll be interested to hear how Spectrum Live goes...
There's gonna be some amazing talent there I bet

I think it's been around 10 years since I've been self employed

before this I worked at the foundry that casts my bronzes.
