Description
First page of two that will be used for samples. Click the Download button for inking. Deadline is Wed August 27th. Please link your inks to this deviation. Any questions - feel free to ask.My total time on this page was 4 hours....that is the average that I need to spend on my pages.
Materials: 11x17 Blueline Bristol Board
"F" "HB" wood pencils, and 7mm Mechanical Pencil with "B" lead

Nice layout - not as clean for me personally to try inking though (I'm used to my own cleaner style - nothin' personal). But still very cool. I'll download them and if I get a chance - maybe someday see what I can do.

It is rather loose, but that's on purpose. I want to see how people interupt my lines. I could clean it up, but then that 1. takes away from the energy of the pencils, and 2. limits the added creativity an inker should bring to the table. In my opinion, too tight of lines, handcuffs the inkers, so that thier creative freedom in extremely limited. Granted, that is just my opinion...my style doesnt appeal to everyone, and i know, and respect that. I would like to shy away from inking my own stuff. As of yet, there have been too few that i completely trust with my lines, to bring what I would bring...if that makes any sense at all.

Thanks Rantz! I'll be gone for a few days, got a con to go to. I'll try to get to any other sequential pages ya put up asap once I return. I really look forward to doing more, so I can get more practice interpreting your pencils.

How many of these will there be say... a week, and how long will we (and by we, i mean whichever lucky artist you choose to work with) have to complet said number of pages...?

5 pages a week roughly, and a page a day is what will be looked for. Not all of the pages will be this full, or this rough....this is more of a worst case scenerio that I want to see how well people do.
