Description
First page of two that will be used for samples. Click the Download button for inking. Deadline is Wed August 27th. Please link your inks to this deviation. Any questions - feel free to ask.My total time on this page was 4 hours....that is the average that I need to spend on my pages.
Materials: 11x17 Blueline Bristol Board
"F" "HB" wood pencils, and 7mm Mechanical Pencil with "B" lead

HAHAHAHAHA...haven't..but doesn't mean I haven't seen it. And it takes you 4 hours to do a page O_O...damn wish I was that quick. I can honk out one in about 6.

It depends on the page actually - I've done a page in an hour before....and I've done one that took me three days straight to do....all depends on t he page. Layout is the toughest part for me - after that is figured out, then it all comes together.

Layout's kinda tough for me too..mine's just letting it go. I LOVE to add detail...and it hurts my deadline.

little x's typically indicate black, but I try and leave a lot of room for creative license, and interpretation.

one more quick question: the bottom margin, where is the bottom most panel line?
It's either the one that's well above the text at the bottom of the page, or it's the line that intersects the text.

a couple hours....LOL! it all depends. Most would probably take about 6-8 on this one, I would think - there's a lot of clean up, and open areas for textures, and crap - LOL

If you are referring to the second angel in from the left - she is farther away, so her features are less visible, yes. The first angel on the left, this is where creative license comes into play.

well, i have a goal to shoot for. I started this at about 1:30, i'm about half done inking the big guy in the first panel.

Any areas marked with an "x" are blacked out. Hatching is pretty much up to the Inker- but depending on the Pencils, you can see what they intended to have Hatched.
